THE LORD HAS RISEN!

BUT VERY EARLY ON THE FIRST DAY OF THE WEEK THE WOMEN WENT TO THE TOMB,, TAKING THE SPICES THEY HAD PREPARED. THEY FOUND THE STONE HAD BEEN ROLLED AWAY FROM THE ENTRANCE.” LUKE 24:1-2

WHY ARE YOU LOOKING AMONG THE DEAD FOR SOMEONE WHO IS ALIVE? HE ISN’T HERE. HE HAS RISEN FROM THE DEAD.” LUKE 24: 5-6

From the day our Lord was nailed to that cross and died, to the day he went to set at the right hand of God, there were a lot of things that went on in order for us to receive the salvation that our God in heaven so graciously provided to us. After walking this earth as a human and experiencing everything we experience, he then went to the cross and experienced a horrible death so that you and I would have the chance to be saved. Spikes were driven into his hands and feet to hold him on that cross. There he was lifted up for all to see. Many watched while many ridiculed him, laughed at him and wept for him. Jesus anquished on that cross before he died. He did that for you and me. He was raised from the dead by the power of the Holy Spirit. As we celebrate Easter we must remember it’s true meaning. We must remember what deeds were performed by our Lord in order for us to be able to celebrate it. Jesus could have asked God to deliver him from all of that anquish and God would have done so. But Jesus went through it all for you and me. PRAISE THE LORD FOR ALL HHE HAS DONE!
