BUILT UPON A ROCK

” ANYONE WHO LISTENS TO MY TEACHING AND FOLLOWS IT IS WISE, LIKE A PERSON WHO BUILDS A HOUSE ON SOLID ROCK. THOUGH THE RAIN COMES IN TORRENTS AND THE FLOOD WATERS RISE AND THE WINDS BEAT AGAINST THAT HOUSE, IT WON’T COLLAPSE BECAUSE IT IS BUILT ON BEDROCK. ” MATTHEW 7: 24–25

Anyone who truly listens to the teachings of Jesus and follows those teachings is wise. Because we are building our house on the solid rock of Jesus we can and will withstand the torrid rains, the flood waters and the heavy winds of persecution, sickness, disease, doubt, worry, fear and sufferings of all kinds. We must not leave even a small opening for the devil. He will take advantage and try hard to discourage us in everything we try to do. As we stand on the solid rock of Jesus Christ, our faith becomes so strong that it cannot be stopped. Our faith becomes unwavering. We must keep focused on our Lord and not the bad and evil things that surround us. When we do we are victorius! We must keep our eyes and thoughts focused on the path set before us. We must surround ourselves with those who are encouragers and have Jesus as their rock. We must stay on the road to victory in Jesus. Remember, there is something very special about the name of Jesus! PRAISE THE LORD IN ALL THINGS AND IN ALL SITUATIONS!
