MOUNTAINS OF PROTECTION

JUST AS THE MOUNTAINS SURROUND JERUSALEM, SO THE LORD SURROUNDS HIS PEOPLE, BOTH NOW AND FOREVER.” PSALM 125:2

Mountains have played a huge part in the history within God’s word. Mountains are not only beautiful but also used as fortification during times of war and in times when protection is needed. Being surrounded by mountains is like being surrounded by a huge wall. We have that same protection offered to us by our Lord each day. The Lord will surround us with his continued protection in all situations if we just ask and then believe. It is so important that when we pray we believe we receive. We must remember that it is by faith that our prayers are answered. We don’t see the results first and then believe but we believe first that our prayers are answered and then see the results. Without strong faith our lives will not be successful. We will live in constant fear and doubt. This is not what God wants. He wants us to be strong, peaceful, joyful, understanding, patient and live without any fear and doubt. We can only do that if we have built our faith so strong that it can never be shaken. Our God in heaven has surrounded us with his mighty protection. We must believe that his protection is real. We must continue to pray and meditate within his word each and everyday. We must make God’s ways our ways of life. We will then be successful and prosperous as children of God. PRAISE THE LORD IN ALL THINGS!
