LIVE IT, DON’T JUST SAY IT!

” MANY WILL SAY TO ME ON THAT DAY, LORD, LORD, DID WE NOT PROPHESY IN YOUR NAME, AND IN YOUR NAME CAST OUT DEMONS, AND IN YOUR NAME PERFORM MIRACLES? AND THEN I WILL DECLARE TO THEM, I NEVER KNEW YOU; DEPART FROM ME, YOU WHO PRACTICE LAWLESSNESS.” MATTHEW 7: 23 & 24

Judas Iscariot powerfully reminds us of the horrific possibilities within every human heart. While he called Jesus’ “Rabbi”, there is no record that he used the term “Lord”. Sadly, he shows us that we can claim allegiance to Christ without ever truly believing in Him as our Lord and Savior. We see these people everyday who profess to know Jesus but do so only for their own gain. We know those who profess to know Jesus on Sunday but then go out and live a life quite contrary to what they say they believe. How many of us attend church regularly and give Jesus intellectual praise but we don’t give him our hearts? How many calls him King, only as a way to achieve their own thrones? Judas gave Jesus an evil kiss before they took him aways. What kind of a kiss are we giving him? PRASIE THE LORD IN ALL SITUATIONS!
