” AND THROUGH YOUR FAITH, GOD IS PROTECTING YOU BY HIS POWER UNTIL YOU RECEIVE HIS SALVATION, WHICH IS READY TO BE REVEALED ON THE LAST DAY FOR ALL TO SEE.” 1 PETER 1:5
” SO, BE TRULY GLAD. THERE IS WONDERFUL JOY AHEAD, EVEN THOUGH YOU HAVE TO ENDURE MANY TRIALS FOR A LITTLE WHILE.” 1 PETER 1:6
” THESE TRIALS WILL SHOW THAT YOUR FAITH IS GENUINE.” 1 PETER 1:7
Faith in our Lord is a great gift from Jesus, given to us by his blood shed upon the cross. However, we do have to do something to help our faith to be manifested in our own lives. We must believe in the unseen (Jesus) and not what is seen (the world). Sometimes we are tested by our trials and tribulations. We are tested by those around us, and the many obstacles thrown in our paths. No matter how terrible the situation we must believe in the unseen. We must have faith and believe in the power and the promises of our Lord. We must keep our eyes upon Jesus. Just as Peter did when he walked upon the water. As long as he was focused on Jesus he could accomplish this great feat, but when Peter began to look at the situation around him, he began to sink. You and I are in that same boat. As long as we believe in the unseen (Jesus) we can walk upon the water. However, as soon as we take our eyes off of Jesus and begin to focus on what we see going on around us, we then begin to sink. Let us pray continually, meditate upon his word daily and praise him in all things! We must stay focused on Jesus and not the world. PRAISE THE LORD IN ALL SITUATIONS!
