“In all things our God works for the good of those who love him.” That is quite a statement. It doesn’t matter how difficult life becomes, if we believe and love the Lord our God, we can rest assured that he is working in our lives all of the time. He isn’t just present when things are going well. He is with us in all areas and all situations we confront. He never leaves us. If we are sick, depressed, hurt, fearful, doubting, or anything else we may endure, he is with us. He is working to help us through. He is building our situation to allow us to become living testimonies. It is easy to say we believe in God when things are going well. However, when the rough times hit our faith becomes tested. We must plow through with faith and trust that our Lord Jesus is with us, he is beside us and he is helping us. It may be difficult to believe when we are sitting in a wheelchair, or sick with a disease, or being persecuted for our faith, but those are the times when our faith needs to be the strongest and our trust needs to be solid. We must make him first in our lives at all times, in the good times and bad times. We must always keep ourselves surrounded with his Word and remind ourselves of his mighty promises. When we do, we will be strong, and we will become successful in God’s plan for our lives. PRAISE THE LORD IN ALL SITUATIONS!
