STAY THE COURSE!

“BE STRONG IN THE LORD AND IN HIS MIGHTY POWER. PUT ON ALL OF GOD’S ARMOR SO THAT YOU WILL BE ABLE TO STAND FIRM AGAINST ALL OF THE STRATEGIES OF THE DEVIL. FOR WE ARE NOT FIGHTING AGAINST FLESH AND BLOOD ENEMIES, BUT AGAINST EVIL RULERS AND AUTHORITIES OF THE UNSEEN WORLD, AND AGAINST EVIL SPIRITS IN HEAVENLY PLACES.” EPHESIANS 6:10-12

This scripture needs very little narrative. It stands on its own. When we realize that we are not fighting against one another but instead against spiritual forces of the dark places of the spiritual world, then we are able to prepare in the proper way. We are not to use human or earthly ways to fight. We are to use what God gives us. The devil does and always will, until the end of his time, use deceitful strategies. He will use mind games and every way possible to make us stumble and fight one another. We are to put on God’s armor of truth, righteousness and peace. We are to use his Shield of Faith, Salvation, and the Sword of the Spirit. We are to pray in the Spirit and be persistent in our prayers. When we do these things, WE WILL BE VICTORIOUS! PRAISE THE LORD IN ALL THINGS!
