THE GOD OF THE LIVING AND NOT THE DEAD

So, he is the God of the living and not the dead.” Matthew 22:32

Such people claim to know God, but they deny him by the way they live.” Titus 1:16

Our Lord Jesus lives. Our God in heaven is the God of the living and not the dead. He is the God of those who believe in his righteousness, his promises, his love and joy and peace. He is the God of those who, when they sin, go to him for forgiveness. When they are sick, they go to him for healing. When they are well, they go to him with praise. He is the God of those who practice the lifestyle of his godly characteristics and believe they receive because he is their source. There are many in today’s world who say they are Christians, but their lives reflect a lifestyle that is very different from that of obedience to our God. They say one thing and do another. They follow the ways of this world and so this world becomes their God. It is important that we produce fruit. It is important that we become successful in Jesus. It is important that we depend on and listen to the Holy Spirit of God. It is of great importance that we build our faith each day so that we can be resistant to the devil and his schemes. God is the God of the living and not the dead. We must be alive in Christ Jesus and dead to the world by not succumbing to its ways. Stay strong is Jesus and live forever! PRAISE THE LORD IN ALL THINGS!
