JESUS, THE LAMB OF GOD!

So, you should consider yourselves to be dead to the power of sin and alive to God through Christ Jesus.”Romans 6:11

So, use your whole body as an instrument to do what is right for the glory of God.”Romans 6:13

Jesus is the Lamb of God. He is the Son of God and was chosen as the sacrifice for both you and for me. In John 1:29, John the Baptist sees Jesus and exclaims, ‘BEHOLD THE LAMB OF GOD WHO TAKES AWAY THE SIN OF THE WORLD.’ When we accept Jesus as our Lord and Savior, we accept his characteristics as well. We accept his gentle nature and innocence. When we accept him, we should consider ourselves dead to the power of sin and alive to Jesus! That does not mean that we will never sin again. It means that we are no longer controlled by the world and the sinful nature within. We have submitted ourselves to God and his way of life. We are to reflect Jesus is our speech and our way of living on this earth. We are to use our whole bodies as examples of God’s ways, as He exchanged the life of his son, for ours. God sent Jesus to be slaughtered like a lamb of sacrifice because of our sins, and so that you and I can live eternally with him. Our focus in life becomes Jesus and not the world. Our focus is on Jesus and not our problems or any troubles we may encounter. We begin to build a faith that allows us to believe in the things unseen rather than the things seen in this world. Jesus is the Lamb of God, the sacrifice given for you and for me. PRAISE THE LORD IN ALL THINGS!
