” Your unfailing love, O Lord, is as vast as the heavens; your faithfulness reaches beyond the clouds.” Psalm 36:5
Having faith in Jesus means relying on and believing His teachings. It means believing that even though we do not understand all things, He does! Our faith and our trust in our Lord Jesus are ways of life that we build within our spirits and our lives. Our Lord gives us a seed of faith, but you and I must be able to water and nourish the faith he has given us. We must be able to stay focused on Him and have a trust so strong that we obey whatever He commands. As we place our faith in Jesus Christ, becoming His obedient disciples, He will forgive our sins and prepare us for our return to him. He has provided us with all the tools that we need to develop the faith we need. He has provided us with everything we need to strengthen our faith in Him. He gives us His Holy Word to meditate upon, an avenue for us to pray daily and even allows us to go through trials and tribulations that will help to build ourselves up in His holiness and truth. The more we are with Him the more we believe in Him. We should allow Him to be a part of everything we do and everything we think and speak. He should be the first person we talk with each morning and the last person we talk to at night.
Our faith depends on our relationship with Him. It becomes stronger when we allow Him to be our Father, friend, associate, partner and involved in all that we do. We must continue to study His Word consistently and pray to Him constantly. We must allow ourselves to be able to talk with Him without needing to be in a formal setting. He listens when we talk, and he gives when we ask. We must, however, have a faith so strong that we are allowed to believe that we receive because He is our one and only source! We must understand that our faith comes by hearing and hearing by the Word of God. Use the tools he has provided and continue to allow his presence in your life! PRAISE THE LORD IN ALL THINGS!
