WHEN LIES ARE ALLOWED TO TAKE OVER!

” Malicious witnesses testify against me. They accuse me of crimes I know nothing about.” Psalm 35:11

” I am attacked by people I don’t even know; they slander me constantly.” Psalm 35:15

” If you make the Lord your refuge, if you make the Most High your shelter, no evil will conquer you; no plague will come near your home. For he will order his angels to protect you wherever you go.” Psalm 91:9-11

A lie is defined as a false statement or action that is fully intended to deceive. It can also be defined as an intentional violation of the truth. Our world today has allowed the concept of lying to slowly creep into our society and become a norm. Lying has become an art form in our world and goes unnoticed for many reasons. Some are naive to the fact that others would actually lie to hurt them. Others just concede that lying has become a part of their lives and they actually become a part of the sin. And there are those who know that lying is a sin, acknowledge it, but ignore it. What many don’t realize is that lying is coming after them. We see it every day in the way people speak. We see how lies have gone from being very subtle to being told to us without any fear of consequences. Lies can hurt the lives of those who are the targets. It can change lives physically, mentally, emotionally, financially and spiritually. We must understand that this world is not getting better it is getting worse. We have only one answer and that answer is Jesus Christ. Our Lord is the only way we have to defeat what comes against us with such fury. We must continue to walk the walk and talk the talk of Christ through thick and thin. When times get hard, we must pray harder. When lies attack we must praise our Lord in heaven and continue to believe that he is right beside us at all times. Our faith in Christ is our safety net. Our God in heaven is our overseer. The Holy Spirit is our guide and our focus. We must never lose sight of the fact that our Lord is all powerful. He is who we look to for our answers and not those around us. We are not to feel sorry for ourselves in times of crises, but instead, we are to stay strong in prayer and continue to build our faith to its fullest. When lies are allowed to take over, lives are destroyed. The devil wins and we lose. But when we look past the evil going on in the world and look to Jesus, we are victors. God’s army of angels begin to pound the evil with punches that it cannot survive. Jesus is the way and the only way. He is our Protector and our Savior! PRAISE THE LORD IN ALL THINGS!
