TODAY’S MESSAGE: Our Lord Jesus has been referred to in many different names. He has been called THE REDEEMER, THE LIVING STONE, THE GOOD SHEPHARD, THE LIGHT OF THE WORLD, THE GREAT I AM, and THE BRIGHT AND MORNING STAR. He has been called THE SON OF MAN, IMMANUEL, LAMB OF GOD, THE ALPHA AND THE OMEGA, MESSIAH, BREAD OF LIFE, THE LIGHT, THE WORD, SAVIOR, KING OF ISRAEL, KING OF THE JEWS, THE ONLY BEGOTTEN SON, THE CORNERSTONE, CHRIST, LORD, GOD, THE ADVOCATE, THE AUTHOR AND THE FINISHER OF OUR FAITH, and THE BRANCH. Jesus is everything that our God in heaven is. He is God. We must always remember that there is great power in the name of Jesus. It has the authority and the divine nature of Jesus Christ himself. By using his name, we are accessing his power to heal, deliver, and bring salvation to others. Calling on his name is a direct connection to his power and presence. The name of Jesus gives us the strength we need to proceed each day. It gives us the confidence we need to live our lives in the ways he desires for us. It gives us the wisdom and the understanding of his Holy Word. The devil and his demons are fully aware of this great power and run away when they hear his name. When calling on the name of Jesus we have the power to be overcomers. The name of Jesus is the most powerful name in all of heaven and earth. It is used to cast out demons, heal the sick, and instill great courage. The is nothing greater than the name of Jesus and this name has been given to us, his children, to help us live our lives with confidence and strength. Jesus is our Lord and Savior, and we must visit with him every day. We should love him as he loves us. PRAISE THE LORD IN ALL THINGS!
