“Now listen! Today I am giving you a choice between life and death, between prosperity and disaster. For I command you this day to love the Lord your God and to keep his commands, decrees and regulations by walking in his ways.” DEUTERONOMY 30: 15-16
It is sometimes very difficult to make choices in life. Making choices mean that we have to do one thing or the other. Our God is asking us to make a choice. He is asking us to decide whether we want to have eternal life with Him in heaven or to spend eternity in hell. On the surface this looks to be an easy choice to make. However, there are strong spiritual forces pulling and tugging at our every thought and action. We have been partaking of worldly ways, in one form or another, since we were born. We have been cunningly trained in the ways of evil. The time to make a choice has arrived. Our Lord is telling us it is time to take action and decide what direction we will take when we reach the fork in the road. We must decide upon whether we believe in our Lord God in heaven, and the salvation message he brings to us, or whether we want to continue down the earthly road we have been walking for years. We must make a choice upon what is seen vs what is unseen. If we chose the ways of our Lord, then we must begin to change our lives and walk with him in his ways and totally do away with what the world offers. The time has come! What choice will you make?
