BUILDING A HOUSE FOR OUR GOD IN HEAVEN

“Unless the Lord builds a house, the work of the builder is wasted.” Psalm 127:1

When you build a house, you should be careful to pick out the right place to build, do all of the ground soil testing that is needed, and choose a builder that you can trust. You want your house to have a solid foundation and reflect all your personality and your touches. Our Lord wishes the same thing for you and me. We are the temple of the Holy Spirit. He lives within you and me, and he quietly and carefully attempts to guide us in directions that will make our bodies and lives a photograph of how God wants us to be viewed by those of this world. Each of us have a responsibility as a contractor of our own lives to follow his exact design for us. Our lives are to built on solid ground. We are to know the specifications God desires, and we are too present ourselves in the manner he projects for us. He gives us a user’s manual called the Holy Bible. Within its pages are exactly how he desires us to represent Him. We are to become like him and show the world just who he is. We are the bible to many people around us. They watch how we live, how we talk and how we act. It may be time to remodel. Let us pray, read and study his word for we are his walking representatives. PRAISE THE LORD IN ALL THINGS!
