LOOK UPWARD!

“And you shall love the Lord your God with all your heart, with all your soul, with all your mind, and with all your strength. This is the first commandment.” Mark 12:30

“Rejoice always, pray without ceasing, in everything give thanks; for this is the will of God in Christ Jesus for you.” 1 Thessalonians 5:16-18

TODAY’S MESSAGE: We should always look upward. It doesn’t matter who we are, where we are or who we believe we are, we should always look up into heaven. It is easy to walk away from Jesus and the death he displayed while upon this earth. But it is hard to dispute the reality of its consequences. With his death and his resurrection, he saves those who believe in him. Yes, some will walk away and look for something or someone to fulfill the void, that denying Christ will leave in their lives. But they will do so without true success. They will fall and not be picked up. They will faint and not be tended to. They will fail and not be successful. Denying what Christ Jesus has done for us is a terrible mistake. It is one that we don’t want to make. Be vigilant and do not miss what the Lord has given you. Be ready to accept his invitation when he offers it to you. Be joyful in the Lord and always pray, giving thanks for his beautiful sacrifice. Accept Jesus as your Lord and Savior today! LOOK UP! PRAISE THE LORD IN ALL SITUATIONS!
