DON’T JUST EXIST, BUT LIVE INSTEAD!

TODAY’S SCRIPTURE: ” For the scriptures say, ‘ It is through faith that a righteous person has life.’ Galatians 3:11

TODAY’S MESSAGE: You and I are not to live our lives in the world by just existing. We are to live by expressing the joy of Jesus. When we truly love Jesus, that love will fulfill our lives and begin to ooze out to those around us. Our faith will be forever growing, and our walk will be one of joy, power and strength. We will show a confidence that only our God in heaven can give us. We will not allow the fears of this earth to stand in our way, because we understand that this life is a gift from God. Our life is to be lived as a testimony to his existence. We will display joy no matter the situation. With a faith that cannot be shaken, we will give every situation we confront, over to Jesus. Our burdens will become light, and our joys will increase. Yes, we are all human. We all have human emotions that sometimes overtake our actions. However, as we recognize these actions, we are fast to ask for forgiveness and move on. Our Lord gives us the opportunity to live this life without fear of making mistakes. We can see the evil going on in the world but not partake. We can hear of the threat of wars but not become fearful. We can become criticized and persecuted but not defeated. With faith in our Lord, we are able to march on and complete each task he has given us. We are able to stand out in the crowd and be seen as one who sees this world differently than the unsaved. Our God in heaven has given us the tools we need to live our lives in peace and with wisdom, if we just believe and continue to build our faith in Jesus each and every day! We are to live in Jesus and not to just exist in the world! PRAISE THE LORD IN ALL SITUATIONS!

THE BLOOD IS LIFE!

TODAY’S SCRIPTURE: “And all who have been united with Christ in baptism have put on Christ, like putting on clothes.” Galatians 3:27

TODAY’S MESSAGE: As a Christian we all believe in Christ as our Lord and Savior. We all believe that Jesus walked this earth and performed miracles along the way. We believe that he touched the lame, restored those who needed restoring and left for us the greatest of all gifts when he left this earth, his blood. When he went to the cross Jesus left the most precious gift he could have left us. On the moments before he died on the cross, he was already shedding his blood in our defense. He had blood dripping into his eyes from the crown of thorns placed on his head as they mocked him. He was bleeding from the many lashes received from the lead tipped whips they used to whip him. As he walked along, in what looked like shame, he was not moving in the direction of weakness but in the direction of strength. He was the living God, the mentor of our faith and the Savior of the world. All of what he had gone through before his crucifixion was all a display of strength and faith. All of these characteristics were shown for our benefit as he came to save us and strengthen us. It is important that we understand the importance of the blood of Jesus, how powerful it is and what has already done for us. It is not about what we want in life, our nice home, a great family, a great job or whatever else we think will make our lives easier. It is about our eternal life in heaven. It’s about our faith that needs to be nurtured every day. It is about making sure that we are telling others about Jesus and the way to heaven. It is about the way we live our lives on the earth just as Jesus lived his. His blood is what matters! It is through the shedding of his blood that we are afforded the ability pray to our God in heaven. It is through his shed blood that we receive miracles every day in our lives. It is through his shed blood that you and I never have to go through that horrible death in order to get into heaven. The blood of Jesus is powerful, loving, caring and the strength that we need to reach our goal of eternal life. PRAISE THE LORD IN ALL SITUATIONS!

WE ARE THE SALT OF THE EARTH!

TODAY’S SCRIPTURE: “You are the salt of the earth. But what good is salt if it has lost its flavor? Can you make it salty again? Matthew 5:13

TODAY’S MESSAGE: I don’t know about you, but I love my salt. Salt gives flavor and a little more excitement to your food. Jesus uses this as a comparable to you and me in this world. We are representatives of our Lord God in heaven. We have been chosen to be living testimonies on his behalf. However, many in this world consider religion to be boring and without excitement. I would have to agree that religion is just that. But you and I are presenting a different picture to the world. We are presenting a relationship experience to the world and not a religious experience. We are representing a way of life and not a Sunday morning experience. In doing so, our Lord has given us access to ways to show others how our relationship with Jesus adds spice to the life we live. It is exciting to know Jesus. It is exciting to be able to pray to him anytime we want or need to. It is exciting to know that through faith we have the power to overcome our daily problems. It is exciting to be able to know that we can take our sadness to him, and he will turn it into joy. It is exciting to be able to lay our problems at his feet and let him carry our burdens so that we don’t have to. It is exciting to know that one day we will meet Jesus’ face to face and be able to talk directly to him. We are to present to the world the excitement of Jesus Christ and not the boring acts of religion. If you have not already joined the army of the God Almighty, then it is time to enlist and get to work. It is a joyful experience and one that is to be displayed to the world and one that gives the world hope and promise. It is a way of life that is to be lived each and every day. Our churches today are, in many cases, presenting the wrong story it their members. It is time to choose a church that is alive in Jesus and not one that is hung up on religion. THE DISGUISE!

TODAY’S SCRIPTURE: ” Even Satan disguises himself as an angel of light.” 2 Corinthians 11:14

TODAY’S MESSAGE: It is so easy to be fooled, dissuaded or even convinced to do something we know is wrong. It is so easy that we can convince even ourselves to do things that we know are not in line with our Lord. The world makes it even harder to stay committed to our Lord God in heaven. The devil is a very smooth operator. He is slick in what he does and very discreet when he does it. 2 Corinthians 11:14 tells us clearly that Satan disguises himself as an angel of light. The devil will never come to you as himself. If he did, we would know instantly who he was, and we would turn away. Instead, he comes to us in ways that we can be deceived. He comes to us looking like the good guy next door. He comes to us looking like the greatest minister that ever lived. He comes to us looking like the greatest performer we have ever seen. He comes in ways to make us think that he is of the Lord God in heaven. He comes to deceive! He can get us to make decisions that we would otherwise not make. He can get us to go places that we would never go without his deception. To battle Satan and his ways we must know the Word of God better than he does (and the bible says he knows it well). We must study and meditate on God’s Word constantly. We must have a communication line with the Lord that is constant and never failing. We must be able to recite God’s promises in the face of Satan without hesitation, and we must be forever learning in our bible knowledge. We must build a foundation that does not allow the devil and his demons to slip into our lives. We must have Jesus in our thoughts and the Holy Spirit to guide our lives every day. We must know the bible frontwards and backwards. The sly old devil will try every trick he can to get us to go his way. But we must be able to beat him at his own game. We must praise our Lord daily, pray to him continually and lean on the Holy Spirit who resides within us. The closer we become to Jesus the farther away be move from the temptations and deceptions of the devil! PRAISE THE LORD IN ALL THINGS AND IN ALL SITUATIONS!

TIME HAS NOT CHANGED THE WORLD!

TODAY’S SCRIPTURE: ” Jesus Christ gave his life for our sins, just as God our Father planned, in order to rescue us from this evil world we live in. All glory to God forever and forever! Amen.” Galatians 1:4-5

TODAY’S MESSAGE: Our world is the same yesterday, today and tomorrow. As we look back into history the world really has not changed. Yes, there have been increases in worldly knowledge but there has not been any change in the way our God looks at this world. There has always been sin. There has always been persecution. There have always been murders and rapes. There have always been disagreements as to the way our God in heaven wants us to believe. God has never changed. He has always been in control. It is time for the people of this world to recognize that we are not the first to go through tough times. We are not the generation who is going through more than any other generation. We are, however, the generation who has been chosen to live in the end days. We have been put upon this earth for a reason, and we have a job to do. We have been chosen to go through different worldly things due to technology. Most of us in this age have grown up with modern ideas and the new technology that our God is using in his plan to change this world. However, just because there are new ideas and ways of doing things doesn’t mean that God has changed or that his ideas have changed in any way. You and I must have faith. Faith is the one and only way we will survive. Technology will not save us. Storing up food will not save us. Bomb shelters will not save us. There is nothing in the world today that will help us to survive what is coming, other that our Lord and Savior Jesus Christ. It is time to continue to build our faith. It is time to pray to the Lord God in heaven any chance we get. It is time to acknowledge our role in God’s wonderful plan and be happy and joyous in Jesus! For through our faith in Christ we have been saved! We have been healed! We have been forgiven! PRAISE THE LORD IN ALL THINGS AND IN ALL SITUATIONS!

THE POWER OF OUR WORDS!

TODAY’S SCRIPTURES: ” For whatever is in your heart determines what you say.” Matthew 12:34 —– ” And I tell you this, you must give an account on judgment day for every idle word you speak. The words you say will either acquit you or condemn you.” Matthew 12: 36 & 37

TODAY’S MESSAGE: The words that we speak tell a lot about us. They also can do us great harm in how we use them. Our words sometimes are very pleasing and loving. We use words to help others, to soothe their pain or to help them through disasters in their lives. However, our words can sometimes be deadly poison. They can be spewed out as destructive criticism, or extremely painful when we become angry and begin to throw them at others. Our words are able to speak things into existence. For example, we can be positive and allow our lives to be positive. We are able to ward off sickness by the words we choose to speak. We can quote scriptures and continue to talk of healing, we can make friends with our words and display the love of our God in heaven by the words we use. But we can also speak evil into our lives. We can consider ourselves down and out, and in doing so, talk sickness and disease into our lives. Instead of talking words of faith we often speak words of doubt and fear into existence. We can invite sickness, disease, drugs and other evils of the world to surround our lives. When we do this, we are not representing our faith or the way our Lord wants us to live. We speak our words from the heart. We speak the words that we allow to live within us. If we fill our hearts with God’s Word, then we will have words of faith and trust coming forth. However, if our hearts are filled with the thoughts and things of the world then we will use the same language as the world. Our words will reflect our lifestyle and our ways. It is important to remember that we will be held accountable. We will have to stand before our God and explain our words to him. Are you ready to do that? We should prepare our hearts with the things of the Lord and not the world. Remember we still have time. Our Lord has still given us the ability to invite him into our lives. Fill your heart with the love and peace of Jesus and not the world that surrounds you. PRAISE THE LORD IN ALL SITUATIONS!

IT IS AT GOD’S CONVENIENCE AND NOT MINE!

TODAY’S SCRIPTURES: “I will not fail you or abandon you. Be strong and courageous. ” Joshua 1:5&7—- ” They that wait upon the Lord will find a new strength. They will soar high on wings like eagles. They will run and not grow weary. They will walk and not faint.” Isaiah 40:31

TODAY’S MESSAGE: When we commit to follow the Lord, we have committed to do just that, follow. I have found, in my life, that it is very easy to do my thing and not that of the Lord. As a human upon this earth, I like to be in control and do things my way and on my timeline. When we follow the ways of Jesus we must change our thought process. We must become servants and not of those being served. We must become patient and be able to wait upon the Lord. The term “wait” in Isaiah means to “love” the Lord. To be able to love the Lord we must have faith and be willing to listen to him and do as he would like for us to do. When we don’t, we often find ourselves in deep water struggling to get out. When this happens, we begin demanding the Lord help us instead of asking for his help. We forget that it is He who has all the control. It is He who has the answers to our problems. When we struggle through life, we find ourselves to be overanxious and not patient. We want our struggles resolved instantly and are unwilling to wait for our Lord to work in our lives. When we ask Jesus to help us, we must be patient and slow down and wait for him to do his work. When he helps us, he does it on his timeline and not ours. We must be strong in our faith knowing that he is our answer. We must realize just because we have struggles and problems, that we have gotten ourselves into, it is at the Lord’s convenience and on his time schedule that we will receive the answer. So, the next time you are having difficulties and ask Jesus for his help, don’t become discouraged when your answer may be delayed. Instead, continue to thank him for the answer and wait patiently on your Lord Jesus! PRAISE THE LORD IN ALL SITUATIONS!

BEWARE OF THE WINDS OF THE WORLD!

TODAY’S SCRIPTURES: “Then Jesus said, COME TO ME ALL OF YOU WHO ARE WEARY AND CARRY HEAVY BURDENS, AND I WILL GIVE YOU REST.” Matthew 11:28 —– ” My grace is all you need. My power works best in weakness.” 2 Corinthians 12:9 —– “For when I am weak, then I am strong.” 2 Corinthians 12:10

TODAY’S MESSAGE: The winds are swirling around us all of the time. Whether they are in the form of breezes or hurricane force winds they are constantly moving. The winds in our spiritual lives are also swirling around. They sometimes are calm, and our lives reflect peace and happiness. However, they sometimes come in the form of hurricane type winds. They are heavy and forceful and can do a lot of destruction in our lives. It is in these times that we must take shelter by going to a safe place. During a tornado we all know that we need to get out of harm’s way, so we go to the basement or somewhere we believe will protect us. When the winds of trouble come into our lives, we must also seek shelter. Many people will just set back and ride out the storm. They carry the burdens upon themselves until the burdens become too strong, and they break the backs of those who carry them. It is at these times we see people turn to the shelter of alcohol or drugs. There are also those who will turn to God in heaven as a last resort. The Lord tells us that he is with us always. He is with us in good times and in difficult times. So, when we are warned of a coming storm, we should take shelter in the loving arms of our Lord. We need to recognize that he is our safety net and our storm shelter. We need to build up our shelter of faith so that when the winds get strong, we can be safely tucked away in the loving arms of Jesus. With Jesus we can be safe all of the time and not just part of the time. With a strong faith in Him we have a place to go when we are being attacked or tested by the world. In times when our burdens become too heavy, he is there to take them on. He is there to carry them and withstand the load. He is our refuge, our safety net and our strength when we must withstand the winds of the world. Jesus is our Lord, and he is all that we need! PRAISE THE LORD IN ALL THINGS AND ALL TIMES!

THE GREAT ACKNOWLEDGMENT!

TODAY’S SCRIPTURE: “Everyone who acknowledges me publicly here on earth, I will acknowledge before my Father in heaven. But everyone who denies me here on earth, I will also deny before my Father in heaven.” Matthew 10: 32 & 33

TODAY’S MESSAGE: Fear = failure. Fear will keep us away from many good things. There are things that we could be doing in this world, but fear takes the place of faith, and the result is failure. As a true Christian it is our responsibility to be completely focused on Jesus, our Lord and Savior. We are not to be afraid to talk about him and to talk with him. We are not too shy from who he is and what he does in our lives. We are to be fearless in our love for him and to stand up and shout our praises on his behalf. Jesus has been very clear that if we deny him on this earth then he will not hesitate to deny us before his Father in heaven. Jesus is our conduit to God. He is our pathway to the strength, wisdom and knowledge that is available to us through our faith in Him. We cannot allow those around us to create fear in our hearts that take away our life stream. We must build our faith and stand firm in all situations. Fear is the opposite of faith. Satan is the opposite of Jesus. The devil uses fear to its fullest to make us stumble, to make us fall or make us doubt. However, we have been given the ability to believe in Jesus our Lord and Savior by faith. It is our duty to strengthen our faith and acknowledge Jesus before men. As we do, we create a relationship with Jesus that becomes personal. He knows us by name and goes to God on our behalf. We are the strong ones on this earth. We are the ones who have the full army of God behind us. We are the overcomers and the wisest because we have Jesus. We must shout him out to the world! JESUS, JESUS, JESUS- THERE IS JUST SOMETHING ABOUT HIS NAME!

TODAY’S SCRIPTURE: “For I have come to call not those who think they are righteous, but those who know they are sinners.” Matthew 9:13

TODAY’S MESSAGE: Our Lord Jesus has been referred to in many different names. He has been called THE REDEEMER, THE LIVING STONE, THE GOOD SHEPHARD, THE LIGHT OF THE WORLD, THE GREAT I AM, and THE BRIGHT AND MORNING STAR. He has been called THE SON OF MAN, IMMANUEL, LAMB OF GOD, THE ALPHA AND THE OMEGA, MESSIAH, BREAD OF LIFE, THE LIGHT, THE WORD, SAVIOR, KING OF ISRAEL, KING OF THE JEWS, THE ONLY BEGOTTEN SON, THE CORNERSTONE, CHRIST, LORD, GOD, THE ADVOCATE, THE AUTHOR AND THE FINISHER OF OUR FAITH, and THE BRANCH. Jesus is everything that our God in heaven is. He is God. We must always remember that there is great power in the name of Jesus. It has the authority and the divine nature of Jesus Christ himself. By using his name, we are accessing his power to heal, deliver, and bring salvation to others. Calling on his name is a direct connection to his power and presence. The name of Jesus gives us the strength we need to proceed each day. It gives us the confidence we need to live our lives in the ways he desires for us. It gives us the wisdom and the understanding of his Holy Word. The devil and his demons are fully aware of this great power and run away when they hear his name. When calling on the name of Jesus we have the power to be overcomers. The name of Jesus is the most powerful name in all of heaven and earth. It is used to cast out demons, heal the sick, and instill great courage. The is nothing greater than the name of Jesus and this name has been given to us, his children, to help us live our lives with confidence and strength. Jesus is our Lord and Savior, and we must visit with him every day. We should love him as he loves us. PRAISE THE LORD IN ALL THINGS!

HELP WANTED

TODAY’S SCRIPTURE: “The harvest is great, but the workers are few. So, pray to the Lord, who is in charge of the harvest; ask him to send more workers into the field.” Matthew 9: 7 & 8

TODAY’S MESSAGE: Are you looking for a job? Are you looking for a job that pays well and has great benefits? Well, our God in heaven is hiring. He is looking for those who are willing to give of themselves and put in a full day’s work. He is looking for those who are dedicated to him and to his holy word. He is looking for those who are qualified by having the faith of a warrior and the dedication of a true soldier. You see the harvest is near and there are still so many in the world who need to be reached. There are not enough workers to go around. There are not enough of God’s people who are willing to actively spread the Gospel of Christ Jesus. There are many believers in the world, but few are willing to dedicate themselves to spreading the gospel. They accept Jesus but that is it. They believe but never tell others. What about those who surround them? What about those in the world who have never heard of the Jesus? That may be hard to believe but the gospel has still not reached everyone. The salvation message needs to be spread far and wide. In today’s world of social media this task becomes a little easier but there is the need for born again Christians to stand up and go to work. There is a labor shortage on God’s farm. He needs workers and workers who are dedicated and ready to give a full day’s work. If you have not been hired, then fill out your application today. God needs you and he needs you soon! Remember the harvest is near and God’s fields need to be filled and then harvested. PRAISE THE LORD IN ALL THINGS!

BE PATIENT!

TODAY’S SCRIPTURE: ” Be still in the presence of the Lord and wait patiently for him to act.” Psalm 37:7

TODAY’S MESSAGE: As a child, being patient was not one of my strong suits. As a matter of fact, I am still not a patient person as an adult. When I see something I want and don’t want to wait to get it. I am sure as a child I was probably considered a little pest by those around me. I had no patience at all. Patience is something that comes hard for many and is a learning process for us who have none. We belong to a patient God. He is patient in everything he does. We as part of the world sometimes wonder if God will ever answer our prayers. We wonder why God doesn’t help us when we think the time is right. Instead, we must realize that our Lord God is on his own time schedule. He has everything arranged to happen at just the right time and you and I have no power to change his schedule. He is a patient God, and we should be very grateful for that. He is patient with each of us when we do things that we shouldn’t. He is patient in his return so that those who still need to accept Jesus will have more time to do so. He is patient in all things, and we should praise him for that. Our problem is that we are not as patient as the Lord. We want our prayers answered as soon as possible. We want those around us healed immediately. We want help with our finances right now! We must learn to be more patient. We must remember that God in heaven has the whole picture setting before him. He knows just when to make the right move. Every move that he makes is for our good. It may not seem that way to us, but you and I have only a small portion of the picture before us. We must have faith that our prayers will be answered. We must have faith that our loved ones will be taken care of by God. We must have faith that our finances will turn out for the best. A strong faith in Jesus is the key to our patience. If we have faith that the Lord is true and faithful, then we are better prepared to wait for our answers. We are able to take time to set back and not miss the answers he gives us. Being patient in the Lord is important and should not be taken lightly. He loves us and will never let us down. PRAISE THE LORD IN ALL THINGS!

WHY WORRY?

TODAY’S SCRIPTURE: ” And let us work toward complete holiness because we fear God.” 2 Corinthians 7:1

TODAY’S MESSAGE: A lot of our life is taken up with worry. We worry about how much food we can put on the table. We worry about how we are going to be able to put gas in our vehicles. We worry about our kids and grandkids. We worry about how we are going to be able to meet next month’s sales goals at work. We worry about this, and we worry about that. Almost everything we do has some kind of worry attached to it. Worry is a sin! So, why do we worry so much? We worry because we are being attacked by the world who represents the devil. Worry is one of the devil’s primary tools. He looks at our weaknesses and throws worry at us like throwing paint at a wall. It splatters all over and is very difficult to get away from. We must remember that our Lord has given us the ability to overcome worry. He teaches us to pray out in faith and not out of anxiety. We are not to pray out of fear, but instead we are to pray with the faith that he hears us and that our answer is on the way. When the world throws fear or doubt at us, we are not to waste our time concentrating on it. We are to go directly to God in prayer. We are not to give worry, doubt or fear a chance to grow roots. Instead, brush them away by giving them to God and let him deal with them. We must be able to stand in the face of the world and confess authority in Christ Jesus! When we do, fear, worry and doubt will go away. It is important that we depend upon Jesus and not on ourselves. We don’t have the ability on our own to deal with the devil and his ways. Without Jesus we have no chance. However, with Jesus we will be victorious. It is through His name that we become bold and strong. It is through Jesus that we can do all things! Jesus is the answer and the only way to live a life that shows strength and love in this world. PRAISE THE LORD IN ALL THINGS!

THE TREE AND ITS FRUIT-PEOPLE AND THEIR ACTIONS

TODAY’S SCRIPTURES: “Beware of false prophets who come disguised as harmless sheep but are really vicious wolves. You can identify them by their fruit, that is, by the way they act.” Matthew 7:15-16—– “Yes, just as you can identify a tree by its fruit, so you can identify people by their actions.” Matthew 7:20

TODAY’S MESSAGE: “A picture is worth a thousand words”. I’m sure that most reading this message today has heard that saying. It reflects, very well, the message of Jesus. There are many in the world today who listen to words that come out of the mouths of those willing to spread the devil’s message but most of the time they do not watch closely the actions they produce. They do not watch how they live and what kind of fruit they produce in their lives. Words are worth nothing unless they are backed up by the proper actions. When those come who are spewing messages of deception, we must be very careful and know what is right from wrong. It is so important that we know what God’s Word says. We must be familiar with his intentions, his promises and how he wants us to live. With that we must compare those who come before us to the Word of God. We must compare how they live to how the bible says they should live. We must be able to separate ourselves from the bad fruit, the wolves in sheep’s clothing and those who just out and out lie. It takes a strong commitment from us to do so. We are to live our lives in the way our God has intended us to. We must apply his principles to our lives and live as good fruit and not as spoiled fruit. When we do this, we are able to see through those who are false and not honest in the way they say they are. The Lord has given us the tools to live in this world as protected and strong believers. He loves us and does not want us to fail. But when we do fail, he will pick us up and put us back the right track, if we just ask. Let us all be aware of our surroundings as we never know what is around the corner. COME OUT!

TODAY’S SCRIPTURES: “Don’t team up with those who are unbelievers. How can righteousness be a partner with wickedness? How can light live with darkness? What harmony can there be between Christ and the devil? 2 Corinthians 6: 14-15—– ” Therefore, come out from unbelievers, and separate yourselves from them, says the Lord. Don’t touch their filthy things, and I will welcome you.” 2 Corinthians 6:17

TODAY’S MESSAGE: As the world turns so do we. It is so easy to become a part of the world and enjoy the things of the world. It is easy to do these things because the world has made it seem reasonable and effortless. The things people do today have been made to look good. They have slowly integrated the ways of evil into our society, and we become a part of that. However, our Lord tells us very clearly that we are to come out and take our hands off of the things that are filthy, evil and that go directly against his ways. We sometimes find ourselves involved in things that are clearly not of the Lord. We find that we have been tricked into doing things because they are “ok”, when in reality they are not ok. The devil is very slick in the way he does things. He knows the ways of our Lord and will do everything within his power to present to us things that look good but are not. It is at these times that we must come out and fight against him. We must know God’s Word front to back. We are to pray for understanding and have faith that God has given it to us. We are to take action upon his word. In other words, we are to take his promises and his commands into the world and live them. We are to justify them in our own lives and do so without hesitation. We are to recognize this world for what it is. We are to understand that the devil is running amuck and causing confusion and destruction along the way. He will leave no survivors. However, we have the answer. We have the only way to survive and that is with Jesus! So, let us come out just as the Lord has directed. Let us stand firm and not be fearful of what is ahead. When we are knocked down let us get up with the gusto of Jesus and rebuke the evil that attacks us. Jesus is Lord and we must follow him in every situation we find ourselves in. COMMON GROUND

Today’s Scripture: “So we are Christ’ ambassadors; God is making his appeal through us.” 2 Corinthians 5:20

Today’s Message: As brothers and sisters in Christ we are all on common ground. God has given us an assignment of being his ambassadors and showing the world the way to Jesus. We all have the same assignment but may have a different path to complete that assignment. Some are given the ability to teach and are able to hold the interest of those are around them. Others are given the gift of speech where they able to go up to others and begin a conversation. Still others are given a love for people and go to great lengths to get the word of God out to them. It doesn’t matter how we reach our goal it matters that we believe in our Lord and through faith we reach it. It takes hard work to do our part. We are given the assignment but we must have strong faith and the desire to complete it. It takes many conversations with the Lord in prayer and much study to know his Word. We, however, have direct access through the gift of the Holy Spirit. As Christians our lives change. Our thoughts suddenly become one with our Lord. But we must stay the course in order to complete our work. The world around us is always lurking in order to steal our message away. We must always be diligent in our every move. We must stay strong by keeping our spirits strong and keep moving forward with the wisdom and understanding our God in heaven is willing to give us. We are on common ground created by our Lord. We all have the same message to carry to the world. For as long as our Lord grants us the privilege of living on this earth we must continue to do his work. We are all chosen ambassadors. Praise the Lord in all things!

Hope Through Our Struggles

Today’s Scripture: “We are pressed on every side but not crushed. We are perplexed, but not driven to despair. We are hunted down but never abandoned by God. We are knocked down but not destroyed. Through suffering, our bodies continue to share in the death of Jesus so that the life of Jesus may also be seen in our bodies.” 2Corinthians 4:8-10

Today’s Message: It is the strength of God that raises us up when we are going through struggles. It is his mighty hand that picks us up when we fall. It is his forgiveness that allows us to go forward with a quiet confidence when we are down and out. With Jesus we are allowed to bend but never break. We are strengthened by the Holy Spirit and given direction at our every turn. There is no problem, no struggle and no difficult situation that can overcome us in this world with a strong faith in Jesus. His sacrifice allows us to live and to live in strength. He is our refuge and our safety net. All we must do is believe, receive and act upon our beliefs in Christ. He loves us and will never let us go through more than we can handle. He is always beside us and with us in every decision we make. PRAISE THE LORD IN ALL THINGS!

THE LIGHT ON THE HILLTOP!

TODAY’S SCRIPTURE: “You are the light of the world- like a city on the hilltop that cannot be hidden. No one lights a lamp and puts it under a basket. Instead, a lamp is placed on a stand, where it gives off light to everyone in the house. In the same way, let your good deeds shine out for all to see, so that everyone will praise your heavenly Father.” Matthew 6: 14-16

TODAY’S MESSAGE: Jesus was the light on the hilltop when he walked this earth. He shined brightly wherever he went and to whomever he spoke. When he spoke, he left no doubt as to who he was. He was like a magnet; he attracted all kinds of people even though all did not believe Him. He spread his peace and love even though there were times when those who did not believe, created chaos and anguish around Him. As His followers we also are to spread his peace and love. We are not to hide his word and our beliefs under a basket or in the closet. We are to also be the light that shines brightly on the hilltop. We are to be able lead others to Christ and do with the love and peace of Christ Jesus. We are to be able to withstand the resistance of those who do not believe. We are to be able to withstand the anger spewed by those who think our Lord’s ways are not for them. We are to be able to speak the Word of God to all without fear of what may happen to us or how those around us will respond. We have a responsibility, and we are to take it seriously. We are not playing a game on the playground of life. Instead, we are playing a game of life or death. For those who believe will receive eternal life but those who resist and do not believe will receive condemnation, judgment and eternal life in hell itself. We have the gift of the Holy Spirit who gives us guidance and strength. Our prayers are always heard from our God in heaven and our praises do nothing but please him. Our faith continues to grow as we continue to spread his word. Stay strong and continue forward as we are tools of our great God in heaven! PRAISE THE LORD IN ALL THINGS!

NEVER FORGET WHO MAKES YOU WHO YOU ARE!

TODAY’S SCRIPTURE: Remember the Lord your God. He is the one who gives you power to be successful.” Deuteronomy 8:18

TODAY’S MESSAGE: It is so easy to go to our Lord in our times of need. When we are hurting, sad, angry, or being persecuted and hit rock bottom we go our Lord to help us out. However, when times are good it is easy to forget our creator. We forget who gives the things that we need to be successful. We forget who provides us the opportunities, our abilities and our knowledge. It is important for each of us to remember that whether we are having a bad day or a good day our life led by our Lord. Just as we pray in our bad times, we should praise him in our good times. We should be thinking of him always and letting him direct our ways. We should be listening to the Holy Spirit in all things and in all of our activities. God’s plan for our live is already out there. We must listen and follow his ways. He loves us and will do everything to keep us healthy, safe, successful and with understanding and knowledge. We must keep him in our conversations and in everything we do. JESUS IS LORD! LIVING YOUR LIFE AS A LETTER FROM CHRIST JESUS

TODAY’S SCRIPTURE: ” Clearly you are a letter from Christ showing the result of our ministry among you.” 2 Corinthians 3:3

Today’s Message: As followers of Jesus, we are all letters from Christ to the world around us. We are letters that are not written with pen and paper but with actions represented by love and understanding that comes from the heart. As the envelope of our hearts are opened, we must allow the love of Jesus to flow outward. It should be so strong that the flow is like a high tide that rushes to the shore. It should cover all that is in its path. The love of Jesus is special. It is not full of anger or full of revenge but instead is full of peace of mind, is peace loving and full of love to others. Our lives should an open book to those around us. Our pages should be able to be read from the youngest to the oldest. There is no condemnation, no evil words or no evil actions from us that display the ways of this world. We must have faith and be trusting is what our God has told us, is telling us and continues to tell us in the future. He loves us so we should spread that same love to others. We are the bible to many. We are the only way to salvation for many, but if we become self-seeking and interested only in ourselves then we lose the opportunities that God has put before us. FOR SATAN ATTACKS AT OUR WEAKEST MOMENTS!

TODAY’S SCRIPTURES: ” For forty days and forty nights he fasted and became very hungry. During that time the devil came and said to him, ‘ If you are the Son of God, tell these stones to become loaves of bread. But Jesus told him, No! The scriptures say, People do not live by bread alone, but by every word that comes from the mouth of God. Matthew 4:1-4“Get out of here, Satan, Jesus told him. For the scriptures say, you must worship the Lord your God and serve him only. Then the devil went away, and angels came and took care of him.” Matthew 4: 10-11

TODAY’S MESSAGE: The temptations of Jesus took place at his weakest moments. The scriptures tell us that he had fasted forty days and forty nights and that he had become very hungry. How would you feel if you had been without food for forty days and forty nights? We would be very weak and probably very susceptible to temptation. That is exactly where Jesus was. The difference was that Jesus had been fasting and praying. He had been gaining strength from the Father. Yes, as a human he was hungry and weak, but his spirit was strong and healthy. The devil came to him with his guns loaded. He gave Jesus every opportunity to succumb through weakness, but the Lord was able to overcome the temptations and send the devil on his way with his tail between his legs. You and I must be very vigilant at every turn. When we are down or when we become sad or weak, we become vulnerable. These are the times that we need to get on our knees and begin to pray. We need to praise our Lord in heaven and ask for his help. We must go to his scriptures and read his promises for our lives. We must strengthen our spirit and become ready for the attacks of the devil. If we don’t, we may become defeated and end up listening to and doing things we may not otherwise do. However, as children of God we have a way to success and victory and that way is Jesus! We must keep him first in our thoughts and in our ways. When we do, we will find that He never lets us down! JESUS IS LORD! PRAISE THE LORD IN ALL THINGS!

SPREAD THE JOY OF JESUS AND NOT THE SMELL OF THE WORLD!

TODAY’S SCRIPTURES: “Prove by the way you live that you have repented and turned to God.” Matthew 3:8— ” Our lives are a Christ-like fragrance rising up to God.” 1 Corinthians 2:15

TODAY’S MESSAGE: To be of Christ and to live in Christ is to live a life that is strong and disciplined in Jesus. It is a life that is of love, patience, understanding, and rewarding. It is a life that displays a power to overcome hardships and sadness. It is one that can stand tall when others mock us or persecute us for our beliefs. It is one that allows forgiveness to spread to those who have wronged us and to those who hate our very being. We are to live our lives just as Jesus lived his on this earth. It is not an easy path, but it is one that will take us to a wonderful place. It is one that will help some to want what we have. It is one that will create peace and not chaos among those around us. It is a life that will show the ungodly the way to right standing with our God in heaven. It is a life that will demonstrate ways that will create strength, power and faith. We are to live a life that will help others to grow and become children of God and not be of those who wander this world aimlessly and with no values or forgiveness. When we obey our Lord and listen carefully when he speaks to us, we will hear his message loud and clear. When we read the Word of God and meditate on it, we receive our purpose and our strength to move forward and not backward. When we pray to Him with faith, we begin to understand what he wants for our lives. Our goal in life is to do what our Lord desires for us and not what we desire for ourselves. When we live the life God has prepared for us, scriptures tell us that we are a Christ-like fragrance rising up to God. We must praise Him and pray to Him. Let us all work hard be a Christ-like fragrance rather than becoming the stench that covers this world today. Jesus is Lord! PRAISE THE LORD IN ALL THINGS!

FOLLOWING JESUS IS A CONSTANT STRUGGLE!

TODAY’S SCRIPTURES: “For the more we suffer for Christ the more God will shower us with comfort through Christ.” 2 Corinthians 1:5—– “We have depended on God’s grace and not our own human wisdom.” 2 Corinthians 1:12—– ” It is God who enables us, along with you, to stand firm for Christ.” 2 Corinthians 1:21—– “For it is by your own faith that you stand firm.” 2 Corinthians 1:24

TODAY’S MESSAGE: Daily struggles are not hard to come by. They are with us no matter our circumstances, but there are some who believe that when they accept Jesus, their lives will be without troubles. This could not be farther from the truth. As a matter of fact, when we accept Jesus, we may find that our lives will sometimes become more troublesome. There will be many roadblocks thrown in our path to block our thoughts and faith. The devil and his demons do not like it when a person comes to Jesus. They become very belligerent and do all in their power to deter the faith of a young Christian. We are all surrounded by things of the world that represent the opposite of what Jesus stands for. We all were a part of this world before our conversion to Christ. As a follower of Jesus, we are given tools to help us overcome the hardships and hurts of this world. Our God has given us many promises in his Word to stand on when we need them, and he has given us a seed of faith. We are to help our faith to grow by watering it everyday. We are to nurture it with prayer and reading the Word of God. We are to put our focus on the ways of Jesus and not the ways of the world we live in. We are to allow our lives to become surrounded by the things and the ways of God and not the world. Our interests may change, and we may lose friends that we have had for years. But that is ok. Our Lord has new friendships ready and waiting for us. With a growing and strong faith in Jesus we are incredibly prepared to overcome the struggles we are to confront. Every problem we come up against becomes a teaching moment for God in heaven. It becomes a learning moment for us. It becomes a strengthening moment for our faith. We must use the struggles and problems in life to become stronger in Jesus so that we can show others the strength, power and love of Jesus in our lives! PRAISE THE LORD IN ALL THINGS!

DO NOT ALLOW THE ROAR TO INTIMIDATE YOU!

TODAY’S SCRIPTURES: ” Study the Bood of Instruction continually. Meditate on it day and night so you will be sure to obey everything written in it. Only then will you prosper and be successful in all that you do.” Joshua 1:8—– ” He renews my strength. He guides me along right paths, bringing honor to his name.” Psalm 23:3—– “Be on guard. Stand firm in the faith. Be courageous. Be strong. And do everything with love.” 1 Corinthians 16:13-14

TODAY’S MESSAGE: The devil is considered to be roaring lion running around the world, causing nothing but destruction. He is actually a toothless little kitty cat. He does not murder or set fires to consume our properties. He does not put sickness on us or shoot us with a gun or stab us with a knife. He does none of these things. However, he is the King of deception. He loves to go around and spread his deception among us, and it is when we allow him to enter our lives, that we are allowing him to cause destruction. We begin to listen to his crazy ideas. We begin to pay attention to his lies and his temptations. When we do, we give him the opportunity to influence us and sometimes to drive our lives in the wrong direction. Evil thoughts and evil ideas do come from the evil one. But it is you and me who listen and become his tools for his evil to be accomplished. It is through others that he causes murder, rapes and other awful things to happen in this world. We must not allow this to happen. We must stay deeply embedded in our Lord God and never leave an open door for the devil. We must pray always as we are instructed. We must read God’s Word and meditate upon it daily, as we are instructed. When we do these things, our strength is renewed each day. We must keep our focus on the path he has put us on. When we do, we become successful, and we prosper. Others will begin to watch us and see how our lives develop and how we are guided from our Lord above. We must stay on guard and never let down. Our faith must continue to grow and be steadfast. The devil himself is toothless and useless. He was thrown out of heaven with revenge toward God on his mind. We should never allow ourselves to be a part of his plan. When we fall, we must ask for forgiveness and then get back on the right path and continue on. Our Lord loves us, and we are to love others in the same way. Spread his mighty word and give those around you the opportunity to accept Jesus as Lord and to live their lives under his divine protection. PRAISE THE LORD IN ALL THINGS!

JESUS MAGNIFIED! THE GREAT REVIVAL!

TODAY’S SCRIPTURE: ” For Christ must reign until he humbles all his enemies beneath his feet. And the last enemy to be destroyed is death. For scriptures say, God will put all things under his authority.” 1 Corinthians 15:25-27

TODAY’S MESSAGE: Today’s world has changed tremendously. Each day we see something else that is unimaginable. Evil is at a stage where it is screaming it’s last breath. It knows that it’s time is very short, and it is no longer just lurking in the shadows working quietly behind the scenes. It is now out in the open showing itself to the whole world trying to sway those who will listen, to succumb to the ways of the evil of the world. I believe we are living in the time of the greatest ever Jesus’ revival. I believe we are living our lives in the home stretch of earthly existence. I believe we are seeing the beginning of God’s children begin to stand up and be counted. We are beginning to see Christians stand up in the face of what seems to insurmountable circumstances to yell the name of Jesus and show those of the world that evil is dying and that Jesus is winning. Jesus is, once again, beginning to be magnified in this world. Brothers and sisters in Christ are coming forth with the great strength and in the power of Jesus. The message being spread is that of our Lord. It begins with fearlessness and strength, and it ends with love and the desire to win over the world for Christ Jesus. There is such great power in the name of Jesus that even the demons run from that name. The devil himself slithers away when in the presence of the name of Jesus. You and I must begin to stand up in the name of Jesus and let him take control of our lives and then begin to spread the greatest message in the world, JESUS IS LORD! PRAISE THE LORD IN ALL THINGS!

BEING YOUR BEST THROUGH THE GRACE OF GOD IN HEAVEN!

TODAY’S SCRIPUTRES: Remember the Lord your God. He is the one who gives power to be successful in order to fulfill the covenant he confirmed to your ancestors with an oath.” Deuteronomy 8:18——- ” But whatever I am now, it is all because God poured out his special favor on me- and not without results.” 1 Corinthians 15:10

TODAY’S MESSAGE: Being your best through the grace of God in heaven. This is quite a statement. Our God is the most graceful person there is. He is unconditionally loving and extremely patient. It is important that we recognize this every day. When we do, we begin to condition ourselves to the ways of our Lord. It matters not whether we are climbing the ladder of success in our business, or digging ditches for a living, our God has put us in the positions we are in to spread his word. We are to be joyful in the Lord and we are to constantly praise him for all that he does for us. We need to recognize that our successes are because of God. He has provided us with the tools we need for that success. He surrounds us with those who need the message we are delivering. We are the ones he has chosen to do his work, spread his word, and live our lives in ways that others may see. Our wealth here on earth is only because of what has done for us. In the last few months, I been reminded that my life is not mine. The physical and the spiritual things that I have in my possession here on earth are not mine. They all belong to my God in heaven. It is he, who gives me the strength to do what we do. It is he who give us understanding, wisdom, patience and the direction for my life. However, it is me who must praise him as his child. It is me who is to thank him each day for the gifts he has given me. And it is me who is to dedicate each and every one of those possessions to him. When we do this, we are surrendering our all to him and recognizing his presence in our lives. Our lives and our things all belong to our God. Without him and the work he has provided to each of to do, we would be nothing. But with him we are special, and we live our lives with the likeness of Jesus! PRAISE THE LORD IN ALL THINGS!

THE DOUBT OF THOMAS

TODAY’S SCRIPTURES: ” I won’t believe it unless I see the nail wounds in his hands, put my fingers into them, and place my hand into the wound in his side.” John 20:25——- “Then Jesus told him, ‘ You believe because you have seen me. Blessed are those who believe without seeing me.” John 19:29——- “But these are written so that you may continue to believe that Jesus is the Messiah, the Son of God, and that by believing in him you will have life by the power of his name.” John 19:31

MESSAGE OF THE DAY: Thomas was the only disciple who was not present when the others first saw Jesus after his resurrection. Thomas made the explanation of doubt that he would not believe that Jesus had risen until he physically saw and felt the nail prints in his hands and side. Jesus then once again appeared to his disciples with Thomas at their side. He was allowed to place his fingers into the nail holes of his hands and his hand into the wound in his side. He then believed. However, Jesus then made a very pronounced statement. He told them those who believe without seeing and touching will be blessed. He knew that the generations to come were not going to be able to do what Thomas had just done. He knew that it was going to take great strength to overcome the doubts that would be thrown their way. Believing without seeing takes not only great faith and trust in our God but it takes great courage. We must be able to step out in our faith, without doubt, and know that we will not sink. Wow, what a thought. Can you imagine Peter walking on the water when he reached out to Jesus? He was doing great until he changed his focus and returned to his worldly belief that this is impossible to do. We are no different. As we step out into our faith we need to take those steps with a total focus on our Lord Jesus. We must not allow our thoughts to stray from that focus. It is only when we take our eyes off of what we believe in the Spirit that we fail, that we fall, and we sink. But, just as Jesus said, BLESSED ARE THOSE WHO BELIEVE WITHOUT SEEING ME. You see, we have power in the name of Jesus. It is not just power, but it is great power. There is nothing we cannot do if we just believe, receive, confess it and do it. Never, never, never take your eyes off of Jesus! PRAISE THE LORD IN ALL THINGS!

OUR GOD OF PEACE AND ORDER- PEACE BE WITH YOU!

SCRIPTURES OF THE DAY: ” They were filled with joy when they saw the Lord. Again, he said, PEACE BE WITH YOU. AS THE FATHER HAS SENT ME, SO I AM SENDING YOU.” John 20:21Be as innocent as babies when it comes to evil but be mature in understanding matters of this kind.” 1 Corinthians 14:20 For God is not a God of disorder but of peace as in all meetings of God’s holy people.” 1 Corinthians 14:33

MESSAGE OF THE DAY: Our God is a God of peace and order. When he first saw his disciples before his ascension to God in heaven, he told his disciples to be peaceful. We are to be his sons and daughters who represent his character and his ways. We must learn how to do this. We must be able to shake off the evil desires that rise up inside us and treat each circumstance with common sense and the love of God. Our Lord has made it very clear that he is the God of order and peace and not confusion, fear and doubt. He is the Lord of love and peace of mind. It is easy to allow “self” to get in our way when we are making big decisions or when we are confronted with problems beyond our control. We must train ourselves up to better understand and remember that when confusion hits us, we must hit back. We must know the scriptures that give us control through Christ and that will run off those of doubts, worries and fears. We must put in our minds our “Jesus’ thoughts”, of how we can do all things through Christ who gives us strength and immediately act upon those thoughts. We must train ourselves up to pray each day with confidence that the Lord hears our every prayer and be confident that our answers have been given to us. We must train ourselves up closely to listen to the Holy Spirit when He talks to us. The Lord is by our side. He has given us the tools to succeed. However, we must not be fearful or doubting in using them. If we are in confusion, doubt or fear we are not in Jesus. It is time to step back and reevaluate. It is time to allow our God in heaven to take control of our life. Be peaceful and move among others with the peace of Jesus guiding you all the way. JESUS IS LORD. PRAISE THE LORD IN ALL THINGS!

THE JOURNEY TO OUR GREATEST GIFT- LOVE!

TODAY’S SCRIPTURES: Love is patient and kind. Love is not jealous or boastful or proud or rude. It does not demand its own way. It is not irritable, and it keeps no record or being wronged. It does not rejoice about injustice but rejoices whenever the truth wins out. Love never gives up, never loses faith, is always hopeful, and endures through every circumstance. ” 1 Corinthians 13: 4-7

” Three things will last forever- faith, hope and love- and the greatest of these is love.” 1 Corinthians 13:13

TODAY’S MESSAGE: Jealous, boastful, irritable, rude, love to do things my way, carry grudges, give up, and lose faith. These are all things that clarify just what love is not. My question today is how many of us fall into the category of being guilty of at least one of these? Well, I can confess that I either am or I have been guilty of every one of them. I would guess that everyone reading this message today is also guilty of them all. The Lord has provided to us the gift of Love. He tells us, very clearly, that love is patient and love is kind. Through my years of living in this world I have found that I can be patient some of the time and I can be kind some of the time but then I always seem to fall back into my old self. We as sinners have a way of sinning even though we know we should not. We know we should not be proud and boastful but that is hard when you are working hard and accomplishing things that we want others to be aware of. We know that we should not carry grudges or keep a record of those who do bad things to us, but we do anyway. We know that our faith is what keeps us going and that we should continue to strengthen it, but we sometimes lose faith anyway. But that is ok. We may not be perfect but our God in heaven is perfect. He does truly love us and is always patient with the things we do well and in our times of failure. He wipes away the sins that we commit and never keeps a record of them. He may discipline us to help us to learn but always does it with love and understanding. Jesus is love. He is the greatest gift we have ever received. We may not always do the right things in life, but our goal should be to always strive for the same attitude and kindness our Lord displayed when he walked this very earth. He loves us, understands us and always forgives. Accept his gift, spread his love and always strive for strengthened faith! Jesus loves us all! Jesus is Lord! PRAISE THE LORD IN ALL THINGS!
