HOLD ON TIGHTLY TO THE LORD

SHOW LOVE TO THE LORD YOUR GOD BY WALKING IN HIS WAYS AND HOLDING TIGHTLY TO HIM.” DEUTERONOMY 11:22

We can only walk in the ways of our Lord by knowing and remembering what his ways are. We must not only read his word but we must be able to properly meditate and concentrate upon his word. It is impossible to do this on our own. In order for us to be able to walk in the ways of the Lord we must stay deeply involved with him. He must be constantly on our minds. When we approach troubles or struggles in life he must be the first one we turn to for help. He must be the one who we truly believe in and trust. Our Lord God in heaven loves each of us very much. We need to realize his love in our lives and hold on tightly because his strength, his promises and his everlasting love will carry us through. Let us all walk in his ways and hold on tightly. It will be a great and exciting ride! PRAISE THE LORD IN ALL SITUATIONS!

SIMPLY BELIEVE!

UNDERSTAND THEREFORE, THAT THE LORD YOUR GOD IS INDEED GOD. HE IS THE FAITHFUL GOD WHO KEEPS HIS COVENANT FOR A THOUSAND GENERATIONS AND LAVISHES HIS UNFAILING LOVE ON THOSE WHO LOVE HIM AND OBEY HIS COMMANDS.” DEUTERONOMY 7:9

We are simply to back off and believe God’s word just as a child would. As we grow older we accomplish a lot of things. We graduate from high school, go to college or go out into the world and find a good job. With all of these experiences and the teaching we receive, we sometimes forget about how real our God in heaven is. We become influenced by those who teach the ways of the world. We believe in what we see and not in what we don’t see. Our Lord will work in our lives each day if we just allow him to. Our faith must be so strong that we begin to believe in what is not seen more than we believe in what is seen. God has always been faithful to his children. According to Deuteronomy 7:9 he keeps his covenant for a thousand generations and lavishes all of his unfailing love on those who believe and obey. Who of us can truly believe and obey if we are not living in his word, if we are not meditating upon his word everyday and talking with him on a constant basis? We must surround our lives with the things of God. We must build upon our faith and make our faith unwavering. We must allow the Lord to work in our lives. If we do, we will see magnificant changes in our lives. We must simply believe. PRAISE THE LORD IN ALL THINGS.

BEING STRONG AND COURAGEOUS IN THE LORD YOUR GOD IN HEAVEN

BE STRONG AND COURAGEOUS. DO NOT BE AFRAID OR TERRIFIED BECAUSE OF THEM, FOR THE LORD YOUR GOD GOES WITH YOU, HE WILL NEVER LEAVE YOU NOR FORSAKE YOU. ” DEUTERONOMY 31:6

It is extremely important that we obey the commands of our Lord. This is not easy to do. We all have our struggles in life. These are the times that we need to stand out as a follower of Christ. These are the times that we should depend upon our Lord God in heaven to help us through. As the time of our Lord’s return draws closer the devil works harder. He is cunning and very good at what he does. He is very clever as to how he throws things in our path as we walk with the Lord. He is the opposite of our Lord Jesus in everyway. However, he tries to imitate our Lord and does a pretty good job of it. If we are not in the word of God each and every day seeking God’s wisdom and knowledge, and if we are not in deep prayer to our Lord each day, we are leaving ourselves open to being deceived by the devil himself. Only our Jesus will lead us away from the deadly and disgraceful schemes of the devil. Only his word will show us the true way. Our Lord tells us to not be terrified or afraid of this world and it’s ways. He tells us to be strong and courageous. And most importantly, he tells us that he will never leave us nor forsake us. But, we must do our part. We must continue to build upon our faith each day by staying in close contact with the Lord. We cannot stray from him. We must continue to believe we receive no matter the situation. Remember, our God in heaven is our source! PRAISE THE LORD IN ALL THINGS!

LIVING THROUGH THE STRENGTH OF GOD!

YOU MUST COMMIT YOURSELF WHOLEHEARTEDLY TO THESE COMMANDS I AM GIVING YOU TODAY. REPEAT THEM AGAIN AND AGAIN TO YOUR CHILDREN. TALK ABOUT THEM WHEN YOU ARE HOME AND WHEN YOU ARE ON THE ROAD, WHEN YOU ARE GOING TO BED AND WHEN YOU ARE GETTING UP.” DEUTERONOMY 6:6-7

The time has come for you and I to stand up and be counted. We are living in the end-times. We are being bombarded with evil day after day. We are being intimidated and smeared with fear, doubt and worry. We are being persecuted for what we believe and how we live. The Lord has shown me that now is the time to stand up and be counted. If we love the Lord and believe that he is with us then we should have no fear of what others can do to us. However, we should have a fear of what our God in heaven can do to us. He is about to release his anger upon this world. It will be changed in such a way that it will not recongnizable. Our faith has to be so strong that nothing can move it. We have to be aware of what is happening around us but we must also understand that we need to stay in God’s word consistantly and not be afraid to spread his message. There are lives on the line. We all have sons and daughters, brothers and sisters and other relatives who have not totally commited to the Lord. The time is beyond short. Every waking moment is vital and should be spent spreading the word of God by the way we live, talk and think. Our faith has to be unwavering. We cannot do this without a strong faith knowing our Lord is with us and is going before us in all of our battles. Stay strong by reading and meditating on God’s word, praising him for his great promises and continually praying to him in all things! We are in a great battle. We are on the winning side. Be proud of our Lord and what he has done for us. Stand up and let it be known that we believe we receive because our God in heaven is our source for all things we do and say. PRAISE THE LORD IN ALL THINGS!

GOD’S CALLING

FOR GOD CALLED YOU TO DO GOOD, EVEN IF IT MEANS SUFFERING, JUST AS CHRIST SUFFERED FOR YOU. HE IS YOUR EXAMPLE AND YOU MUST FOLLOW IN HIS STEPS.” 1 PETER 2:21

As Christians our God in heaven has called us to a certain standard that we must be willing to live by. We are to distance ourselves from the evil around us. We are called to do good, even if we have to suffer for doing so. As Jesus walked this earth there was nothing and no one who detered our Lord from completing his task. He walked this earth to perfection. You and I are not perfect. However, we have been called to follow in his steps. If we trip and fall along the way then we have a loving and gracious God in heaven who will catch us and help us to get back on track. We should be looking to Jesus as our example for living in this world and not to those around us. We must stay focused on him and not focused worldly events. We must continue to build our faith in Jesus on a daily basis. As our faith grows we grow as a spiritual person. Our Lord is returning soon. Are you ready? The time to be ready is now and not tomorrow. PRAISE THE LORD IN ALL SITUATIONS!

YOUR LIFE THROUGH CHRIST JESUS!

PEOPLE DO NOT LIVE BY BREAD ALONE; RATHER, WE LIVE BY EVERY WORD THAT COMES FROM THE MOUTH OF THE LORD.” DEUTERONOMY 8:3

We work hard each and everyday in order to make a good living to support our families. We want them to have plenty of food , clothing and a good roof over their heads. However, as Christians we need to remember that our life is much more than that. We have a source in our Lord God who provides those things for us. Yes, we are not to be lazy and sit around all day waiting for the Lord to throw these good things into our laps. He wants us to be fruitful in what we do. We are to be wise in the way we live and how we speak and act toward others. But we are not to take our eyes off of him. It is sometimes easy to take our eyes from him and focus on ourselves. When we do that is when we begin to have struggles with the lack of resources to overcome those struggles. We are blessed! We must, however, remember where our blessings come from. They are not from our our hands but from the Lord. We should hang on every word that comes from his mouth and be faithful in how we live our lives. When we do we are forever successful! PRAISE THE LORD IN ALL THINGS!

GOD’S TIME IS NEAR

YOU CAN MAKE MANY PLANS, BUT THE LORD’S PURPOSE WILL PREVAIL. ” PROVERBS 19:21

As we read the word of God and consider all of the prophesies that have been handed down and fulfilled throughout the years, it is plain to see that we are not only living in the last days but we are living in the tail end of the last days. All endtime prophecies have been met. God’s purpose is about to be met. He is at the door and ready to take all of his children to be with him. The things of this world may seem to be bad but this world has seen nothing yet. The wrath of our God is about to be spewn upon this earth and upon those who refuse to believe. As we listen and watch the world events of the day, we can rest assured that, our Lord has everything under control. If we have accepted the Lord and truly look forward to his coming then we are looking forward to a wonderful scene about to unfold. But, if we are living by the standards of this world and not believing the word of God, but believing the things of this world, then we are about to be involved in the worst of the worst of the trials and tribulations of this world. As a believer I know, that as God displays his wrath upon this earth, we as believers will be sitting at the marriage table of the Lamb. I pray for all of those who are yet to accept Christ and his wonderful plan. Our God in heaven is not going to take much more of what is going on in our world today. He is about to show his mighty strength and anger. I for one look forward to his might plan! PRAISE THE LORD IN ALL THINGS!

LIVE THE GOOD LIFE

LIVE SUCH GOOD LIVES AMONG THE PAGANS THAT, THOUGH THEY ACCUSE YOU OF DOING WRONG, THEY MAY SEE YOUR GOOD DEEDS AND GLORIFY GOD ON THE DAY HE VISITS US.” 1 PETER 2:12

We as children of God are instructed to live our lives in such a way that even though the world accuses us of doing wrong they will see the goodness in the way we live and eventually praise the Lord our God when he returns. As we live each day we should constantly remind ourselves that the Lord is returning soon. He is coming to take us out of this world. We should remember that he is about to release his wrath upon the world and the remaining unbelievers. We should continue to live each day with the hope that he so graciously provided displaying joy, peace and faith in his word and promises. We must keep adding to the foundation of faith that we have built in order to be strong and until his return. PRAISE THE LORD IN ALL THINGS!

PREPARE FOR WAR

THEREFORE PREPARE YOUR MINDS FOR ACTION, BE SELF-CONTROLLED; SET YOUR HOPE FULLY ON THE GRACE TO BE GIVEN YOU WHEN JESUS CHRIST IS REVEALED. ” 1 PETER 1:13

Just as those who go to war are trained for battle we also are to prepare for the battles that we fight on a daily basis. Before entering into a conflict or war our military will first learn all of the strategies necessary to battle successfully. We are to do the same. We must first, however, recognize that we are in a war. We are in a spritual battle each day. We are fighting forces and things that we cannot see. If we try to battle these things with worldly ways and worldly tools we will be easily defeated. We must prepare ourselves for these spirtual battles. We must stay in prayer to our God in heaven. We must ask for his help and we must have the faith to believe that we receive. The Lord is with us in all situations. But, he will not force himself upon us. We have to make the choice as to whether we want to fight these battles on our own or ask for his help. God wants to help us in all things. We must prepare our minds to receive from him and to listen to him and to do as he instructs us to do. If we are successful in depending on the Lord then we will win the battles and the war. PRAISE THE LORD IN ALL THINGS!

OUR ACTIONS IN CHRIST

EVEN A CHILD IS KNOWN BY HIS ACTIONS, BY WHETHER HIS CONDUCT IS PURE AND RIGHT.” PROVERBS 20:11

Our actions tell the whole story. We are a living and breathing book that is walking this earth telling a story. We show people how we feel and what our beliefs are by what actions we take and how we live our lives. We can go about professing to be good but in our lives do things that are contradictory to the words that we speak. People believe our actions and not our words. As we meditate and concentrate on the word of God we will begin to reflect his word in our lives. Our actions will begin to show our relationship with Christ. Whether we are going through really tough times or if we are going through really good times our a relationship with Christ will allow us to act in a joyful and loving manner. It isn’t easy, but we should live a life with few ups and downs. If we truly believe the word of God then we know that He is taking care of us in any and all situations. With that knowledge we can be joyful even through the toughest times we may face. Our faith needs daily attention. We need to constantly build upon it and make it stronger and stronger. We must believe we receive because God is our source! PRAISE THE LORD IN ALL SITUATIONS!

BELIEVE IN FAITH AND RECEIVE IN FAITH

THIS DAY I CALL HEAVEN AND EARTH AS A WITNESS AGAINST YOU THAT I HAVE SET BEFORE YOU LIFE AND DEATH, BLESSINGS AND CURSES. NOW CHOOSE LIFE, SO THAT YOU AND YOUR CHILDREN MAY LIVE AND THAT YOU MAY LOVE THE LORD YOUR GOD, LISTEN TO HIS VOICE AND HOLD FAST TO HIM.” DEUTERONOMY 30: 19-20

Our Lord has given us choices in our lives. He allows us to make mistakes and stumble, but if we have chosen to follow the Lord, then it is through these mistakes that we learn in the Lord. However, some do not make the choice to follow Jesus. Instead they follow their own hearts and the ways of the world. It takes a strong faith to be able to follow the Lord. There are many hardships along the way and persecutions that continually follow those who have accepted him. Our faith must be renewed each and everyday. We must surround ourselves with God’s word and the promises within his word. We must be able to believe in things unseen. We must have an unwavering faith, a faith that is only built by plugging into the Word of God. He must become our total source. Everything we do and say will become based upon his word and how he directs us to live our lives. If we waiver, we will get off track. If we do, we must ask for forgiveness and get back on the road to righteousness. Our Lord God in heaven loves us very much. He has given us choices. He tells us to choose life so that we may hear the Lord and hold fast to him. We must believe in faith and receive in faith! PRAISE THE LORD IN ALL THINGS!

HUMBLE YOURSELF BEFORE THE LORD

HUMBLE YOURSELF BEFORE THE LORD AND HE WILL LIFT YOU UP. ” JAMES 4:10

It is not easy to be humble. It is actually harder than one might think. We are surrounded by the influences of this world where the attitude is to take care of yourself first and think of others later. We are taught to always take care of ourselves first and foremeost. Sometimes people even take that to the extreme. They will go out of their way to hurt others in order to be sure they have taken care of themselves first. However, the Lord tells us to do just the opposite. We are to humble ourselves. We are to think of others as better than ourselves. We are to think of others first and put ourselves in the back of the line. Sometimes we find that we are trying to out guess the Lord or trying to do things on our own instead of turning them over to him. He has promised to take care of us in every and all situations. We will be successful if we just humble ourselves before him. Let him take the reins and guide us. Let him make decisions for us. If we do, he promises that he will lift us up. Our lives here on earth will be so much better as we have a God in heaven who loves us more than we can believe. All we have to do is trust him. PRAISE THE LORD IN ALL THINGS!

RIGHTEOUS PRAYERS

AND THE PRAYER OFFERED IN FAITH WILL MAKE THE SICK PERSON WELL; THE LORD WILL RAISE HIM UP. ” JAMES 5:15

THE PRAYER OF A RIGHTEOUS MAN IS POWERFUL AND EFFECTIVE. ” JAMES 5:16

A prayer prayed in faith is one that will heal the sick and make the weak strong. When we pray we should be confident that our pray is answered. We must not allow any doubt to enter, but pray our prayer with confidence in the Lord, that he is with us in all things and will never leave us. No matter the situation in which we find ourselves we must keep our faith strong and never waver. Our Lord has given us his promise that he will answer prayer and we must take at his word. We must believe that we receive because our God in heaven is faithful and always with us. He should be our power source. PRAISE THE LORD IN ALL THINGS!

ALWAYS REMEMBER WHO IS IN CONTROL

BUT REMEMBER THE LORD YOUR GOD, FOR IT IS HE WHO GIVES YOU THE ABILITY TO PRODUCE WEALTH, AND SO CONFIRMS HIS COVENANT, WHICH HE SWORE TO YOUR FOREFATHERS, AS IT IS TODAY,” DEUTERONOMY 8:18

It is so important that we never forget who is really in control of our lives. Our Lord God provides for us in everything we do. We are who we are in life because of the Lord our God in heaven. He gives us the abilities we have. He provides our abilities to be successful in life. Without him our life will be unfulfilled. We may have riches and worldly success but our life will always be lacking. Our lives will continue to be unfulfilled and we will continue to search until we find Christ, until we develop that intimate relationship with him. He is our source! He is our strength! He is our life blood! There is nothing else that we can obtain in this life that will fulfill the emptiness we have without him. I know that I wonder at the things that are going on in this world today. The murders, the suicides, the lies and deception. These are all a result of seeking things of this world. These are the result of allowing the devil to control our lives and putting hatred and division in our thoughts and ways. This can only be stopped by standing up as children of God and facing the devil head on. We have nothing to fear with Christ on our side. We are plugged into the strongest and most faithful source available! Remember, testify and represent Jesus well. Praise him, pray to him and never be embarrassed to be strong in Jesus! PRAISE THE LORD IN ALL THINGS!

THE LORD’S DEFENSE

DO NOT SAY, ‘ I’LL PAY YOU BACK FOR THIS WRONG!’ WAIT FOR THE LORD AND HE WILL DELIVER YOU.” PROVERBS 20:22

We pray and ask our Lord for a lot of things. When we do we have to be patient and willing to believe and trust him for his answers to our prayers. When we are confronted with evil and we become angry, it is very easy to want to take control of the situation and allow our anger to take over. When this happens we often times make the situation much worse. Proverbs 20:22 tells us that this is not the way to react. We are to trust the Lord in all situations and that includes our times of anger. We should not act upon our madness. We should allow the Lord our God to handle the matter. We are not in any position to be judge and/or jury. The Lord has not given us that right. We should trust the Lord to take care of the situation. The Lord will defend us. He will handle the matter in his time frame and in his way. We must allow him to work in our lives. We must continue to trust him, even in times of great anger. We must be patient and continue to wait upon him. PRAISE THE LORD IN ALL SITUATIONS!

FINDING PEACE

FOR WHERE YOU HAVE ENVY AND SELFISH AMBITION, THERE YOU WILL FIND DISORDER AND EVERY EVIL PRACTICE.” JAMES 3:16

As we continue to live the life that our God wants us to live we will produce the fruits that show his great mercy. Our lives will produce joy, understanding, compassion, love, peace of mind, positive thinking and positive speech. We will build each other up and not tear them down. We must stay in touch with our Lord in all situations. We must not allow the devil even a crack to allow his thoughts, words and evil deeds to enter our being. He is so suttle in the way he works that it is sometimes very hard to discern what is happening. If we stay connected to the Lord we will remember that if allow envy of any kind or selfish ambition to control our actions that we are entering into dangerous territory. James 3:16 says it very clearly, ” there you will find disorder and every evil practice.” Stay connected! Pray at all times! Believe that you receive because God is your source! Continue to build upon your faith daily! Remember, “we can do all thing through Christ who strengthens us.” Phil. 4:13 PRAISE THE LORD IN ALL THINGS!

THE JOY OF THE LORD IN YOUR LIFE

DO NOT GRIEVE, FOR THE JOY OF THE LORD IS YOUR STRENGTH.” NEHEMIAH 8:10

As we continue to dwell within the word of God we find joy to be a constant part of our lives. When we have joy we have great strength. The Lord is our strength, our personality, our way of life. We should reflect him as though we are looking in a mirror. Our lives will be filled with the promises of God. We will walk with confidence knowing that our God in heaven is with us in all things. We will be overcomers of doubt, worry, fear, disease, sickness, bitterness, unforgiveness and all other evil we face each day. Hopefully, as others see us live our lives in Christ, and they will question how we are living the life we live in a world filled with anger, doubt and intimidation. The Lord will open up opportunities for each and everyone of us to witness on his behalf without fear of retaliation. We must have great faith and a focus on the Lord that is unchanging. We must stay in the word of God and never deviate from his commands for our lives. PRAISE THE LORD IN ALL THINGS!

FAITH IN ACTION

” FAITH BY ITSELF, IF NOT ACCOMPANIED BY ACTION, IS DEAD.”

A huge part of building your faith is following up with action. We must act upon our faith. We must make it real. When we act upon our faith then we are proving our belief. It is very similar to driving a car. We can go out and buy a car but if it just sits in the driveway then it is doing us no good. However, if we start it and use it, it helps us to fulfill our daily duties. The same principle applies to using our faith. If we take what faith we have been given and never apply it to our lives then what good is it to us? We can say we have faith all day long but if we never put into action it will do us no good. We are to continue to build upon our faith and a huge part of that is putting it into action! When we act upon our faith it then becomes a part of our life. It becomes a way of life. PRAISE THE LORD IN ALL THINGS!

SPEAKING FROM THE HEART

BUT THE WORDS YOU SPEAK COME FROM THE HEART- THAT’S WHAT DEFILES YOU. ” MATTHEW 15:18

As we continue to train ourselves up in the Lord we fill our spirits with all of the good things of our God. We fill ourselves with peace and understanding, joy, forgiveness, love for others, compassion and purity. As these things of God penetrate our soul then our spirit will take over and control our actions and words. Our desires will change from the lusting after things of this world to a desire of more things from the Lord. What we speak will reflect what we have filled our lives with. If we have allowed the things of this world to control our lives then our speech will reflect what desires and worldly things we have allowed in. We will speak negatively, without forgivness for others. Our words will reflect language that allows unruly things into our lives. However, if we have filled ourselves with the things of our God in heaven then our speech will reflect our compassion for others, our love and joy for the good things of God here on earth. We want those around us to see and hear the things of God. We want our actions to display the fruits from our Lord. We want our speech to reflect what God has given us and use our words to build others up and not tear them down. Let us stay close to God and allow him to be a part of our lives each and everyday. PRAISE THE LORD IN ALL THINGS!

PERSEVERANCE

SO, DO NOT THROW AWAY YOUR CONFIDENCE, IT WILL BE RICHLY REWARDED. YOU NEED TO PERSEVERE SO THAT WHEN YOU HAVE DONE THE WILL OF GOD , YOU WILL RECEIVE WHAT HE HAS PROMISED.” HEBREWS 10: 35-36

Many times when we pray, our prayers are not answered as quickly as we might want. It is in these times that that our faith is put to the test. We must continue to believe, even in times when it appears the situation is hopeless. We must not doubt or fear. We must continue to keep our focus on the end result, Jesus Christ. From a human stand point this is not an easy task. We are surrounded by the world and all of the doubt that comes with it. In order to keep our focus on Jesus, and to know that we are receiving all of his promises, we must continue to surround ourselves with the things of God. We must read and meditate upon his word each and everyday. We must pray and listen carefully to the direction of the Holy Spirit. We must continue to stay positive in our thoughts, words and actions. But, as God tells us in Hebrews 10, we WILL receive what he has promised when we have presevered and done the will of God. We are to be patient and NOT anxious about anything. Keep building upon your faith! PRAISE THE LORD IN ALL THINGS!

BELIEVE WHEN YOU PRAY!

IF ANY OF YOU LACKS WISDOM, HE SHOULD ASK GOD, WHO GIVES GENEROUSLY WITHOUT FINDING FAULT, AND IT WILL BE GIVEN TO HIM. BUT, WHEN HE ASKS, HE MUST BELIEVE AND NOT DOUBT, BECAUSE HE WHO DOUBTS IS LIKE A WAVE OF THE SEA, BLOWN AND TOSSED IN THE WIND.” JAMES 1: 5-6

Communicating with our God is a vital part of our life. Without this communication we are lost in the confusion of the world we live. We must, however, be wise in our communication with him. We must believe what we pray for. If we do not, then we will not receive. We must have a faith in his word. We must believe what he tells us. We must not doubt the promises he has put before us . If we don’t believe when we pray, then why are we praying in the first place? Do we pray like we play darts? Do we throw a prayer out there with hopes that we hit the target? We must honor our God in all things. We must believe him. He is not a liar, and if he says he will answer, then he will and does answer our prayers. We must continue each day to build upon our faith to believe God answers prayers for the smallest of things to the largest of our problems. He knows our hearts, he knows what we need before we pray. Let us all pray with confindence that our Lord God in heaven is faithful, loving and caring. Believe that you receive because God is your source! PRAISE THE LORD IN ALL THINGS!

A LIFE TRUSTING GOD

THE LORD WILL KEEP YOU FROM ALL HARM- HE WILL WATCH OVER YOUR LIFE; THE LORD WILL WATCH OVER YOUR COMING AND GOING BOTH NOW AND FOREVERMORE.” PSALM 121: 7-8

Our God never fails on anything he promises. If we are truly trusting our God then we are trusting everything he says. We cannot trust one thing and then not another. As our faith becomes stronger and stronger each day our trust in the Lord continues to grow as well. We can rest assured that he is always with us. He has sent his loving and caring Holy Spirit to live inside each of us, to guide and help us through our struggles and problems. We must also understand that our Lord is not a forceful God and will not do anything unless we ask him to. We must consider each trouble before us and ask our Lord to help us through. He must be the first and the last one we go to for answers to our struggles. If we don’t ask then he won’t work in our lives. If we do our part then our God in heaven will keep each and every promise he has made for our lives. We will be able to live each day in joy and complete peace. Our God has never and will never change. He is watching our every move, every thought we think and is waiting patiently for us to invite him to help us through each and every day. We will never be without troubles. But with the Lord with us we can do all things. PRAISE THE LORD IN ALL THINGS!

THE LORD IS YOUR LIFE

IT’S NOT WHAT GOES INTO YOUR MOUTH THAT DEFILES YOU; YOU ARE DEFILED BY THE WORDS THAT COME OUT OF YOUR MOUTH.” MATTHEW 15:11

The Lord your God in heaven should be your life. If we are allowing the Lord to direct our lives then He is the first one you think of in troubled times! He is the first one you seek when you have struggles! He is the only one you should pattern your thoughts, words and actions after! He is the one you would never deny! He is the one you are willing to be persecuted and die for! He is the one you rise every morning for and the one you rest your eyes for at night. He is your every thought, every word you speak and every action you take! His word is in your mouth and your heart! Our Lord is very near and not far away! The Lord is your life! We should be courageous in all that we say and do! PRAISE THE LORD IN ALL THINGS!

MOUNTAINS OF PROTECTION

JUST AS THE MOUNTAINS SURROUND JERUSALEM, SO THE LORD SURROUNDS HIS PEOPLE, BOTH NOW AND FOREVER.” PSALM 125:2

Mountains have played a huge part in the history within God’s word. Mountains are not only beautiful but also used as fortification during times of war and in times when protection is needed. Being surrounded by mountains is like being surrounded by a huge wall. We have that same protection offered to us by our Lord each day. The Lord will surround us with his continued protection in all situations if we just ask and then believe. It is so important that when we pray we believe we receive. We must remember that it is by faith that our prayers are answered. We don’t see the results first and then believe but we believe first that our prayers are answered and then see the results. Without strong faith our lives will not be successful. We will live in constant fear and doubt. This is not what God wants. He wants us to be strong, peaceful, joyful, understanding, patient and live without any fear and doubt. We can only do that if we have built our faith so strong that it can never be shaken. Our God in heaven has surrounded us with his mighty protection. We must believe that his protection is real. We must continue to pray and meditate within his word each and everyday. We must make God’s ways our ways of life. We will then be successful and prosperous as children of God. PRAISE THE LORD IN ALL THINGS!

FEAR OF THE LORD LEADS TO LIFE

THE FEAR OF THE LORD LEADS TO LIFE: THEN ONE RESTS CONTENT, UNTOUCHED BY TROUBLE. “

As we continue to build our faith we will become more and more like the Lord in our actions. We will find ourselves looking to the Lord for the answers to all of our troubles and struggles. We will find that if we lay our problems at the feet of Jesus, and leave them there, they will be defeated. Our faith will lead us to believe in the unseen trust of our Lord God. We will be stronger and more powerful in our actions and words. We will find ourselves caring for others, praying for others, being considerate of others and at the same time being strong and standing up to the evil of this world. Our love of the the Lord will lead us to a more joyful life. We know that when we face any struggle we are able to take it to the Lord and it will be answered. We will believe that we receive because God is our source! PRAISE THE LORD IN ALL THINGS!

THE WORD OF GOD IN VERY NEAR

NO, THE WORD IS VERY NEAR YOU; IT IS IN YOUR MOUTH AND IN YOUR HEART SO YOU MAY OBEY IT. ” DEUTERONOMY 30:14

The word of God has been made accessible to each and everyone of us. Deuteronomy 30:14 tells us that it is in our mouth and in our heart. What we speak comes from the heart. We must keep our hearts clean and full of the good and the great things of our Lord. When problems occur it is important that we talk of things from the Lord our God and not the things of the devil and this world. If we are surrounded by the things of God then our words will be of peace, joy, love and encouragement. We will have confidence in our Lord and his many promises for our lives. If we stray from the ways of God then our mouths will reflect negative words and thoughts and we will only dig ourselves deeper into our problems by creating negative things with our words. Let us all wrap ourselves in God’s loving arms and believe every promise he has made. Let us read and meditate on his holy word so that when we do face problems he will be the first place we go for our answers. Remember, we can do all things through Christ who gives us strength. PRAISE THE LORD IN ALL THINGS!

ENDURING PERSECUTION

YES, AND EVERYONE WHO WANTS TO LIVE A GODLY LIFE IN CHRIST JESUS WILL SUFFER PERSECUTION. ” 2 TIMOTHY 3:12

Have you ever heard someone say ” there is nothing free in this world.” ? When Jesus came into this world he knew there would be persecution and even death. He knew he would suffer on the cross. He knew he would be made fun of, cursed and spit on. Yes, there was a price to pay for saving his children. Even though Christ died for us we also have a price to pay. We have to believe unconditionally in Jesus Christ. If we live our beliefs we also will be presecuted, made fun of and possibly even cursed because of our beliefs and the way we live. We must not be afraid to stand up and defend our Jesus. We are to never deny him. No matter our situation we are to stand in the face of evil and believe we receive because God is our source. We are to stay strong in all that we do and say. WE must surround ourselves with the love of Christ. Stay in his word always and pray to him continually. Jesus died for us and we must stay strong and fight with all of our might for the word of God. PRAISE THE LORD IN ALL THINGS!

STAY PLUGGED INTO YOUR SOURCE

THE LORD WILL CONQUER YOUR ENEMIES WHEN THEY ATTACK YOU. ” DEUTERONOMY 28:7

To use any of our devices we have in todays world we must make sure that we plug them in to the source that is going to give them the proper energy to work. We as humans work much the same way. For us to work properly, the way God wants us to work, we must plug into the proper source. It is important that we plug into the Lord each day by praying, meditating on his word and praising him in all things. In doing so, we recharge our battery which allow us to go out into the world and confront anything put before us. We must however, continue to recharge our battery each day. We cannot expect to go to church on Sunday and have our battery charged for the rest of the week. Our struggles are daily and we need to plug in Jesus daily. If we stay charged we will have a faith that is strong enough to believe that we receive. If we stay charged we will not allow an opening for the devil to cause havoc in our lives. Yes, the devil will try everything under the sun to conquer us, but with the Lord, he will be defeated. We can do nothing on our own. But with our Lord Jesus we can do all things. PRAISE THE LORD IN ALL THINGS!

LISTEN CAREFULLY

FOR A TIME IS COMING WHEN PEOPLE WILL NO LONGER LISTEN TO SOUND AND WHOLESOME TEACHING. THEY WILL FOLLOW THEIR OWN DISIRES AND WILL LOOK FOR TEACHERS WHO WILL TELL THEM WHATEVER THEIR ITCHING EARS WANT TO HEAR. THEY WILL REJECT THE TRUTHS AND CHASE AFTER MYTHS.” 2 TIMOTHY 4: 3&4

Every generation could probably stand up and support the above scripture. However, we are living in a special time. You and I have been chosen to live in the end times. Struggles are not totally understood. Things that some people are doing seem so obviously bad that it just doesn’t make sense that they continue do the same things over and over again. Lying and cheating is no longer hidden but has become a way of life and is displayed right out in the open. Many churches today do not preach or teach the true word of God. They lean toward teaching and are in agreement with the things of this world. Because of this we must become very careful and selective in what church we attend. It has become even more important that we as Christians stand up and live our lives as true witnesses for Christ. Many will fall short. The pressures continue to build and the attacks continue to get stronger against those who continually support and speak the truths of our Lord and Savior. In order to survive these vicious attacks we must build our faith to a point that our God in heaven is our total and only source. There can be no other. We must surround ourselves with God’s holy word and stay strong. The attacks against Christians in this country are beginning to reflect the attacks that are already taking place against Christians around the world. Stay strong, pray continually and never give up your faith! PRAISE THE LORD IN ALL THINGS!

KEEPING HIS CHILDREN FROM HARM

THE LORD KEEPS YOU FROM ALL HARM AND WATCHES OVER YOUR LIFE. THE LORD KEEPS WATCH OVER YOU AS YOU COME AND GO BOTH NOW AND FOREVER. ” PSALMS 122:7-8

No matter where we are in life or what we are doing, our Lord is always with us. He is with us in our good times and in our times of need. He is with us in times of celebration and in times of sorrow. He never fails us in any way, shape or form. However, he is not going to push himself upon us. He has given each of us a free will to act and think what we want. We must train ourselves up to reach out to our Lord in every situation, praising him in the good times and praying to him in times of need. Our faith must continually be refreshed and made stronger. It is by faith that we are healed and delivered from anxiety, doubt, worry, fear and disease. It is by faith that we allow our God in heaven to work in our lives and make them better. He does not want us to suffer, fear anything or struggle. He wants us to live in peace and with joy in our hearts. Let’s continue to build upon our faith and allow our Lord to work in our lives! PRAISE THE LORD IN ALL THINGS!
