TODAY’S SCRIPTURES: “So don’t worry or be afraid of their thoughts. Instead, you must worship Christ as Lord of your life.” 1 Peter 3:14-15
“So then, since Christ suffered physical pain, you must arm yourselves with the same attitude he had and be ready to suffer too. For if you have suffered physically for Christ, you have finished with sin,” 1 Peter 4:1
TODAY’S MESSAGE: We do not know what each day will bring. There may be happiness, joy or there may be anguish, anxiety or fear. It is so important that we are prepared for each day. Christ knew his path. He knew what his future held. He was on a mission for God Almighty and would do nothing less than complete that assignment. You and I are in the same boat. The difference is that we do not know what our road leads us through each day. We do not know whether we will have valleys to climb out of or whether there will be mountains to climb over, but we do know that our Savior is by our side every step of the way. We know that through faith in Him we are able to climb over those mountains and climb out of those valleys. With faith in Him we are able to walk the path that has been chosen for us to walk. We can move forward with the confidence of Jesus leading the way. If we receive unexpected bad news, we should be prepared to not panic but instead be calm in Jesus. We must be prepared to go directly to our Lord in prayer and ask for his direction and help. We must begin our conversations, not with negative and frightened thoughts, but instead with positive words giving the Holy Spirit a chance to work in our behalf. This is not easy to do. This is why we must stay connected to the Lord our God in heaven. We must pray, praise him and be confident in the answers he gives us. We must continue each day to build our faith, one brick at a time, until it becomes solid and unwavering. It is our time to shine throughout this world with the light of Jesus shining brightly before us. We must not be scared or ashamed of announcing our faith, but instead, we should be able to shout it from the mountain tops. Jesus loves us and we must love him as much! JESUS IS LORD! PRAISE THE LORD IN ALL THINGS!
