PROVE BY THE WAY YOU LIVE!

“Prove by the way you live that you have repented and turned to God.” Matthew 3:8

TODAY’S MESSAGE: There are many ways to discern a false witness. One of the easiest is see how they live their lives. Do they speak the Word of God to those around them but when they are living their everyday lives are they speaking and acting like the world? What about you and me? Are we fully invested in Jesus? Are we reading his Holy Word, but instead of living in it’s shadow, are we living to satisfy our own selfish ways? Do we follow Jesus sometimes but forget Him at other times? We are all human and it is because we are human that we sometimes find ourselves looking foolish before our Lord. We should be very grateful that he has given us an escape route from sin. He has given his forgiveness. However, being a human being nor because of God’s gracious forgiveness should we willingly commit sin. As followers of Jesus we are to pattern ourselves after his ways. Our lives are to be representative of his life. Our thoughts, words and deeds should always have the Lord at the forefront.  If he is always on our mind then our lives are being lived honorably and in right standing with God.  PRAISE THE LORD IN ALL SITUATIONS!
