THE STRENGTH OF OUR FAITH

“You are a dangerous trap to me. You are seeing things merely from a human point of view, not from God’s.” Matthew 16:23

TODAY’S MESSAGE: The wisest thing we could ever do is to take our Lord seriously. What I mean by that, is not that we do not believe, but how deeply we believe, not only in his existence but in his words, actions and answers.  It becomes a difficult task for the common man to go to the Lord when trouble shows up on the door step. Instead of going to the one who can give the answers, we go to the world and trust in the things of man. It is not to say that science and technology are bad, but we must allow God to work in our lives. He will often use the sciences and technology around us to answer our prayers. However, we are spiritual beings living in a foreign world. Our lives are trained in earthly ways but our spirits are truly spiritual. We are to train ourselves in the ways of God. We are to better understand his ways and thoughts.  We must be able to interpret his meanings when he gives us answers and talks with us. We should be consistent in our study of the Bible by reading, praying and meditating in it daily. We must pray for every situaion we encounter and pray always for those around us. God’s ways will become our ways and our coversations with him will eventually become more real and much more satisfying. PRAISE THE LORD IN ALL SITUATIONS!
