IT IS LIKE CHASING THE WIND!

“God gives wisdom, knowledge, and joy to those who please him.” ECCLESIASTES 2: 26

TODAY’S MESSAGE: Living in the world is much like a dog chasing it’s own tail. The dog goes around and around without success. Finally it gets tired and realizes his tail will never be caught.  The world provides the same opportunities as the dog chasng his tail. Our lives sometimes become so busy by doing “things” that we forget the meaning of it all. Our lives become focused on the things of the world. We begin to depend upon our jobs for success or a person in our lives, to help us through tough times. The world becomes our source for all things.  However, we forget who provides those things. As we continue to chase the invisible winds of life we may run into problems the world has no answer for. Lives get turned upside down. Jobs suddenly get lost, or a family member passes from this world to the next, or someone close to us gets sick. All of these things can produce sorrow, sadness and anxiety.  If we don’t have a solid spiritual foundation, life becomes like chasing the wind and we never find satisfaction. When we allow Jesus to work in our lives , he takes our problems upon himself and away from us. Are you still chasing the wind or are you allowing the Lord to be your source for all things? PRAISE THE LORD IN ALL SITUATIONS!
