WAITING ON THE PROMISES!

“But if we look forward to something we don’t yet have, we must wait patiently and confidently. ” ROMANS 8:25.

TODAY’S MESSAGE: Romans 8:25 tells us exactly what we are to do when we are waiting on God. I believe that most of of us know that it sometimes takes a great amount of patience, when we wait for promises from our Lord to be fulfilled. The wait somtimes feels like a wish that we once had as a child that never came true. In many cases our confidence in the wish was very low. When we are waiting on the Lord we are not wishing. We are waiting and we are to wait with great confidence. We must begin to look at things through the eyes of God. We must look straight ahead and not allow anyone or anything to deter us. Things in our life may even get worse before they get better, but we must contiue to believe. We must stay confident in the Lord and his promises. Is this easy? Of course not. It has never been told to us that things of God become easy. We may be children of God but we live in the world and the world is negative and full of doubt. Don’t allow yourself to wait and watch through the eyes of the world. Instead, read the bible and continue to pray to God. Let the Holy Spirit guide you. Remember to  be patient and continue in your confidence. He has never failed and will never fail on His promises! PRAISE THE LORD IN ALL SITUATIONS!
