JESUS!

Jesus told them, ‘ I am the way, the truth and the life. No one can come to the Father except through me.’ ” John 14:6

The words I speak are not my own, but my Father who lives in me does the work through me. Just believe that I am in the Father and the Father is in me.” John 14: 10-11

There is great hope in today’s world. There is light at the end of the tunnel. Over two thousand years ago Jesus addressed this very issue directly. He told those who followed him who he was and how he stood in the eyes of his Father, our God. Jesus put it plainly that he was the WAY! He explained that it is through Him that we find our way in the darkness. It is through Him that we find the truths of God’s words. Jesus is our Lord, Savior, Healer, Forgiver, and our Mediator. It is through Jesus that we reach God in heaven. As a Christian, Jesus knows us, He knows every bone in our body by name. It is through Jesus that God recognizes each of us. If Jesus does not recognize us, then God does not recognize us. We must believe, just has his disciples at the time He walked this earth, that Jesus is in the Father and the Father is in Jesus. The Way is at our fingertips. He is at our door knocking. There is still time if you have not developed that intimate relationship with our Lord Jesus Christ. Do it immediately. Time is short and should not be wasted. We do not know the time nor the hour, but we do know the season for the rapture of his saints. That season is now! PRAISETHE LORD IN ALL THINGS!

SHED THE EVIL AND DISPLAY THE LOVE OF JESUS!

” Your love for one another will prove to the world that you are my disciples.” John 13″35

Living our life in the world and then being asked to change our ways is often a very burdensome thing to accomplish. Over the years we have trained ourselves to live by the standards of those upon this earth. We learn the rules, and we learn of all the laws that govern us. When we ask Jesus to come into our hearts, we are asked to change the way we look at things. We are asked to do things that may look weird and strange to the world that we live in. We will be asked to put ourselves in unsettling situations so that we can allow the Lord to work in our lives. These are very important times that the Lord has put before us. We must follow the guidance of the Holy Spirit and put what we hear into action. We must replace jealousy with love. We must replace fear with faith. We must replace confusion with understanding. We must replace darkness in our life with the light of Jesus. These things may sound very doable, but I can assure you, from personal experience, that failing and asking for His forgiveness will become an everyday occurrence. I agree that it is all doable but defiantly not easy. It will take leaning upon the Lord Jesus on a daily basis. It will take a focus that will change your thoughts and words. It is all training so that our faith in the Lord becomes a part of us. It takes this training to help us allow Jesus to rule in our lives as we navigate this world. Jesus is Lord. What He asks of us is doable! However, it takes us to act upon his Holy Word, and believe that we receive, in order for the Lord to work in our lives. We must shed the evil and display the ways of Jesus! PRAISE THE LORD IN ALL THINGS!

BE PREPARED!

” The righteous person faces many troubles, but the Lord comes to the rescue each time.” Psalm 34:19

As Christians we should always be prepared. Our Lord is very explicit when he says that those who are righteous will have many troubles. If you are righteous in all of your decisions and deeds, then you are in right standing with God in heaven. Some believe that when they become followers of Christ that their lives will become much easier. That couldn’t be farther from the truth. There will be problems, and you will need the Lord to lean on and pray to, and your faith must become strong. The trust that is necessary to believe for his help must also become strong and unmoving. It is important that we pray earnestly and stay focused on Jesus. If we do not, then our faith and our trust will waver like the water of the ocean. Always be prepared! Stay close to Jesus! Pray always and trust that his answers are never far away. PRAISE THE LORD IN ALL THINGS!

The Spirit alone gives eternal life.  Human effort accomplishes nothing. The very words I have spoken to you are Spirit and life.”  John 6:33

Sometimes in this life we all begin to feel as though we are invincible.  There is nothing that we cannot do.  However, when it comes to eternal life the worldly things we accomplish mean nothing.  What counts is the relationship we have with Jesus.  We are to accept Him as our Lord and Savior and develop a relationship with Him that is strong and never broken.  Many times, this experience comes after we have totally failed at something or we are at the end of our rope and can see no light at the end of the tunnel.  What our Lord tells us seems to be simple, but there are those in this world who will never experience the love of this relationship.  It means more than just saying you have accepted him as your Lord and Savior.  It also takes a change of life.  Our fellowship with Him is so real that our lives begin to reflect his ways, his thoughts, and words.  We no longer depend upon the world, but instead, our focus is on Jesus and the trust we have in him. The Spirit alone gives us eternal life.  We stop believing what we can physically see as the truth and begin to believe in what we cannot see as the truth.  Jesus is our Lord and Savior.  He will return soon.  Don’t miss Him!  PRAISE THE LORD IN ALL THINGS!

A DEDICATED LIFE!

“But my life is worth nothing to me unless I use it for finishing the work assigned me by the Lord Jesus- the work of telling others the Good News about the wonderful grace of God.” Acts 20:24

In Acts 20:24 we hear Paul telling the elders of the Church of Ephesus about how important it is to him to follow the lead of Jesus. He had an assignment and that assignment was to tell the world about the message of Jesus Christ. It is the same in our lives. Our focus should be on Jesus and not the world that we live in. Our main goal should be the message of Jesus. When we prioritize our duties in life, beginning with the Lord, our total existence falls into place. We are able to live life with a free spirit and not worry about the ins and outs of the world. When we spread His message, our lives begin to have real meaning as our Lord begins to take care of us. Our faith begins to grow and our trust in him grows equally as fast. Jesus is our Lord and is coming soon. It is time to focus on our spiritual existence first and then all else will fall into place. JESUS IS LORD! PRAISE THE LORD IN ALL THINGS!

THE CHARACTER TEST!

Until the time came to fulfill his dreams, the Lord tested Joseph’s character.” Psalm 105:19

The Lord uses each of us in different ways. There will be times in our lives where we will be on top of the world. Everything will seem to be perfect and all that we do and think does nothing less than encourage us and make us stronger and stronger. However, there will be other times when our Lord will provide us opportunities to build our character and our faith. There will be the fires of life that will present themselves in front of us and we must show our ability to be overcomers. There will be doubt, sadness, fear, anxiety and many other times where our abilities to overcome will be tested. As we follow Christ, we must be strong. Our God wants us to show our trust in him. As we are confronted with the anxieties of life we are to endure and grow in the strength of our Lord. We are to ace the test by leaning on the truths of Jesus and believe that we receive the promises he has provided throughout centuries. We are to remember to pray in times of need. We are to depend upon his word for our way of life to be persistent in moving through all of the heat provided by this world. We are to overcome sadness with the joy of Jesus. We are to overcome fear with the strength of the faith we get from our Lord. We are to overcome anxiety by focusing on our Lord and not the things that are happening around us. When we do these things we pass the character test, just as Joseph did in his day. The time is coming soon when we all meet Jesus’ face to face. At that moment we will all want to hear him say, “JOB WELL DONE.” PRAISE THE LORD IN ALL THINGS!

THE TWELVE HOURS OF DAYLIGHT

“There are twelve hours of daylight every day. During the day people can walk safely. They can see because they have the light of the world. But at night there is danger of stumbling because they have no light.” John 11:9-10

Jesus is described as the light of the world. It is through this great light that we are able to find our way to find safety and protection. Without Him we are walking in the darkness and are unable to see our way. The darkness brings us confusion, stumbling along the path and crashing into things as we go. However, with Him we are able to see our way. We can know without a doubt that our directions are correct. As we walk, we are able to defeat the ways of confusion, doubt and fear of the unknown. We are able to see our adversaries coming from all directions. It is with Jesus that have communication, peace of mind and the daylight we need for safety. It is through the daylight that we have the hope and the promise that we will obtain eternal light where it goes from 12 to 24 hours of daylight. Jesus is the way. There is no other! PERSECUTION!

“When they call on me, I will answer; I will be with them in trouble. I will rescue and honor them with long life and give them my salvation.” Psalm 91:15-16

Have you ever wondered if your faith and trust in the Lord is enough to get you through the persecutions that Christians are going through in today’s world? Throughout the past 2025 years, and even while Jesus walked this earth with his disciples, those who believed in his name were persecuted. Today we are seeing Christians all over the world being persecuted, beaten and killed for what they believe. The question for you and me is whether our faith is strong enough to endure what is ahead. I am not saying that every single one of us will be persecuted for being a Christian but some of us will. Persecution does not have a schedule. It never gives us time to build up our faith and trust in the Lord. That is why it is so important that we do so every day of our lives. It is important that we praise him, pray to him, read his words and put them into action within our own lives. When we do these things, we will be ready if it persecution should arrive. We must, however, live our lives so that Jesus is involved at all times. If we don’t, then there is a good chance, we will caught off guard. Our Lord God in heaven promises that he will be with us in trouble and that he will rescue us and give us salvation. He will live up to his promises, but we must be able to believe, receive and never doubt. Is this easy? Never! But practice is the best medicine we can give ourselves as we prepare for the future here on earth with our Lord Jesus. PRAISE THE LORD IN ALL THINGS!

BE A GIVER NOT A TAKER!

Listen, O Israel! The Lord is our God, the Lord alone. And you must love the Lord your God with all of your heart, all your soul, and all your strength. And you must commit yourselves wholeheartedly to these commands I am giving you today. Repeat them again and again to your children. Talk about them when you are on the road, when you are going to bed and when you are getting up. Tie them to your hands and wear them on your forehead as reminders. Write them on the doorposts of your house and your gates.” Deuteronomy 6: 4-9 ———- “Give thanks to the Lord and proclaim his greatness. Let the whole world know what he has done.” Psalm 105:1

Jesus was a giver and not a taker. As he traveled his path, he was always showing himself to be available for healing those who needed healing and for saving those who needed saving. He was on the road to giving the greatest gift ever! He was on the road to giving up his earthly life for us. Since his resurrection, our time to be givers has arrived. It is time for our attitudes to change. It is no longer time to be self-centered or to only think of ourselves. It is time to share and to give those who need Christ, the message he left behind. It is time to reach to the far corners of our existence and tell others of the message of Jesus. It is time for you and me to stand up and become givers, allowing those who need help, to be the takers. PRAISE THE LORD IN ALL THINGS! Please visit us at: breadoflifeconversations.com

STAND UP FOR THE NAME OF JESUS!

” The stone that the builders rejected has now become the cornerstone. Everyone who stumbles over that stone will be broken to pieces, and it will crush anyone it falls on.” Luke 20: 17-18

The scripture today in Luke 20 is just as important in today’s world as it was in the time of Jesus. There were the Pharisees and Sadducees in the time of Jesus that would stand up and deny him to his face. They would threaten those who believed and called them blasphemers. Today we have many in this world, and in our own country, who are beginning to do the same thing. There are those who are beginning to strengthen their stand against those who believe in Christ and are becoming very bold in their actions. It is becoming more common to hear about, or to even witness, the burning of churches or even shootings and killings of Christians. This is not the time for us to become fearful and hide our heads, thinking these things will go away. I witnessed an immigrant on the news this past evening, who was damning those who were worshipping our Lords birth by just saying the phrase, ‘Merry Christmas.” They are the ones stumbling over the cornerstone of our Lord, the building block of our faith and strength. They will not last, but for as long as they do, we must stand up and not give in. We do have strong faith, understanding and wisdom from our God above. It is time to stand up and be counted for the name of Jesus! PRAISE THE LORD IN ALL THINGS!

THERE IS JUST SOMETHING ABOUT HIS WORD

“They searched the scriptures day after day to see if Paul and Silas were teaching the truth.” Acts 17:11 —– ” You are truly disciples if you remain faithful to my teachings. And you will know the truth, and the truth will set you free.” John 8: 31-32 —– ” Anyone who belongs to God listens gladly to the words of God.” John 8:47

Paul and Silas were being fact checked. Their listeners wanted to make sure that what they were hearing was the truth. They were digging into the scriptures for themselves just to make sure. You and I are no different. It is wise to understand the bible and its content. This can truly only happen if we are in the bible and learning from it. We may not understand it all but there are those around us to answer our questions and keep us going down the right path. God’s word is amazing. It is through his word that we learn his truths, his promises and see of the miracles he has done and will continue to do. It is by praying and studying his word that we develop a stronger relationship with Jesus. We learn his personality, his meanings and his ways. We are to learn by listening, reading, meditating and praying. We are to be faithful to his teachings. We must build our faith and trust in Him. We accomplish all of these goals by getting into his word and learning. PRAISE THE LORD IN ALL THINGS!

NOT TO BE KEPT HIDDEN FOR A RAINY DAY!

” I am the light of the world. If you follow me, you won’t have to walk in darkness, because you will have the light that leads to life. John 8:12

As followers of Christ Jesus, we are to be prominent in our thoughts and our deeds. We are not to sit back and wait until we think it is time to tell others about Christ and his life saving message. The message is embedded in our thoughts, words and deeds. We are to begin living the life we were intended to live. We must be strong in our ways and not fearful of what may happen because of our stand for Jesus. We must pray for his understanding and that he will give us the strength to move forward and spread the gospel. He is the light of the world. He is the giver of life and the refuge we seek in troubled times. He is with us when we stumble. He is with us in good times, and He is with us when we work for Him. It is time to move forward as Christians and let the world know about Jesus. As His followers we are always in His light. We are never in the darkness that surrounds the world. As He shines on the path ahead of us, we must walk in that light and be sure we are being active in his ministry. There are thousands upon thousands in this world who need to hear the message He brings. You and I are a part of that message. Let us stay strong and praise Him always! Jesus is Lord! THIS IS HIS COMMAND!

” I will not fail you or abandon you.” Joshua 1:5 ———- ” This is my command – be strong and courageous! Do not be afraid or discouraged. For the Lord your God is with you wherever you go.” Joshua 1:9——— “I can do all things through Christ Jesus who strengthens me.” Philippians 4:13

So many times, we miss the messages that God is giving us. We become so preoccupied with our earthly lives that we overlook what God is doing in our lives. As we read his mighty and holy Word, we allow his words, many times, to bypass our thoughts, and we miss miracles and the lifeline that he throws out to us each day. In Joshua 1:5 he promises us that he will not fail us or abandon us. That means he will NEVER be far from us. He is always at our fingertips. All we must do is pick up the prayer hotline and talk with Him. Instead. we are sometimes known to fear what is coming toward us. We create anxieties within ourselves, and our lives, not only become hard for us, but also for those around us. Our Lord is close at hand. He provides us strength in times of our weaknesses. He provides us with understanding in our times of confusion. He provides us with love and compassion in our times of hatred and disdain. All we must do is ask, believe and receive. Jesus is Lord! THE CHOICE YOU MUST MAKE!

“Now listen! Today I am giving you a choice between life and death, between prosperity and disaster. For I command you this day to love the Lord your God and to keep his commands, decrees and regulations by walking in his ways.” DEUTERONOMY 30: 15-16

It is sometimes very difficult to make choices in life. Making choices mean that we have to do one thing or the other. Our God is asking us to make a choice. He is asking us to decide whether we want to have eternal life with Him in heaven or to spend eternity in hell. On the surface this looks to be an easy choice to make. However, there are strong spiritual forces pulling and tugging at our every thought and action. We have been partaking of worldly ways, in one form or another, since we were born. We have been cunningly trained in the ways of evil. The time to make a choice has arrived. Our Lord is telling us it is time to take action and decide what direction we will take when we reach the fork in the road. We must decide upon whether we believe in our Lord God in heaven, and the salvation message he brings to us, or whether we want to continue down the earthly road we have been walking for years. We must make a choice upon what is seen vs what is unseen. If we chose the ways of our Lord, then we must begin to change our lives and walk with him in his ways and totally do away with what the world offers. The time has come! What choice will you make? WE HAVE NOT BEEN FORGOTTEN!

” None of their enemies could stand against them, for the Lord helped them conquer all their enemies.” Joshua 21:44 ——— But be very careful to obey all the commands and instructions that Moses gave to you. Love the Lord your God, walk in all of his ways, obey his commands, hold firmly to him and serve him with all your heart and all your soul.” Joshua 22:5———“The Lord is like a father to his children, tender and compassionate to those who fear him.” Psalm 103:13

As we move along in our world today the devil has a lot of fun disguising good from bad. He often plays with our minds and is able to get us to do things that are not wise and in our best interest. Time really has not changed things in the world, as God still views us all as human beings. And as the test of time has proven, humans will be humans. He still sees the same things happening in the world, whether it occurred three thousand years ago or in today’s world. Just as in the days of Joshua God still helps us. He gives us the ability to overcome problems in our lives. He still requires that we follow his ways and live accordingly. He still requires that we hold fast to him and not let go. We are still to serve him, just as in the days of Noah, Moses and Abraham. Nothing has really changed as far as God is concerned. He has always loved us and proved it even further with the gift of Jesus to the world. We must hold on to that gift and never let go. We must keep our focus and always live in the ways of our God in heaven. It is sometimes convenient to believe that our Lord has forgotten us and has left us to be eaten by the ways of this world. Nothing could be further from the truth. He loved humans thousands of years ago and still loves us today. God has not changed! We must continue to honor and obey him without hesitancy and doubt. COME TO THE LORD!

” Shout for joy to the Lord, all the earth! Worship the Lord with gladness. Come before Him, singing with joy.” Psalm 100:1-2

” But those who drink the water I give will never be thirsty again. It becomes a fresh bubbling spring within them, giving them eternal life.” John 4:14

It should always be remembered that our Lord and Savior Jesus Christ will be returning soon. When he returns, those who have died with the hope of his return in their hearts, will rise and go with Him. Then, those of us who remain upon this earth, will also be taken up in the twinkling of an eye to go with him to glory. Since the time that Jesus ascended into the clouds, after His resurrection, people have believed of His return. They were constantly looking upward because of the belief they had in their hearts. You and I live in a time where all of the prophesies, that needed to be met for his return, have taken place. It is important that you and I look upward and not downward. Our focus should be on the sky above and not on the depths below. It is time to come to Christ Jesus if you have not. It is time to declare yourself a sinner, ask for His forgiveness and accept him as your Lord and Savior. Allow your life to change in an attempt to practice for your eternal life with Jesus in heaven. It is time to recognize and declare to the world that Jesus is Lord and not the world! STAY CLOSE TO THE SHADOW!

“Those who live in the shelter of the Most High will find rest in the shadow of the Almighty.” Psalm 91:1

How close to the Lord God are you? Do your thoughts and deeds wander in directions that take you away from the shadow of the Almighty? Are your first thoughts, in times of trouble, to try to fix your problems on your own? Do you seek out family and friends to help you with your issues before finally succumbing to prayer? Has prayer become your last resort? Or do you seek the Lord God in prayer immediately? It is wise for each of us to focus and become of those who remember that our Lord is close and at hand. If we are living a life with Jesus, we should always keep him first in our thoughts. It is when we forget that our Lord is with us that we begin to dig deeper and deeper and fall further into trouble. However, with Jesus we can do all things. We must train ourselves up to remember that prayer is the way. We must believe that we receive and never fail in our faith. It is with our Lord God that our problems will be blown up, and a clear sky will appear. It does not matter the size of the problem; our Lord is by us to help. We must stay close, stay within His mighty shadow, so that we never forget that He is our Lord, our problems solver and our healer. He is with us in sorrow and in joy. Jesus is Lord! OUR STRENGTH THROUGH THE NAME OF JESUS!

“I can do all thing through Christ who strengthens me.” Philippians 4:13

The things that we do on the earth without the leading of Jesus are foolish. The decisions we make, are in many instances, a guessing game. Sometimes they may be right and other times they may not. Jesus was given to us as a precious gift from our God on high. Each of us who have accepted Him have become a part of the family of our God in heaven. It is with this name that we are able to climb the mountains of success. We are able to climb out of troubled valleys, ask and receive forgiveness for our mistakes, and are able to cope with defeat when it happens. We are able to do all of these things because we have hope in the return of our Lord and Savior Jesus Christ. It is with this hope that we are strong when we should be weak. It is with this hope that we are by nature loving, patient, joyful and giving. Our God has saved us through Jesus. This gift provides us strength to live our lives on this earth with the hope of eternal life with our God in heaven. PRAISE THE LORD IN ALL THINGS!

BECOME IMMERSED IN THE HOLY WORD OF GOD!

“But those who drink the water I give will never be thirsty again. It becomes a fresh bubbling spring within them, giving them eternal life.” John 4:14

The time has come to jump into the water Jesus offers and become immersed in all of his glory, love and obedience. It is time to allow for all of his nature to come bubbling through so that all of those around are able to see firsthand how Jesus is able to change lives forever. We must stay refreshed by diving into his Word as often as we can. We must find ourselves praying, meditating and staying fresh with praise and thanksgiving for all he has done for us. LIVING THE SPIRIT LIFE!

“Humans can produce only human life, but the Holy Spirit gives birth to spiritual life.” John 3:5-6

We often hear of and talk about living the spiritual life, but have you ever dug into what living this kind of life is really like? It is becoming disciplined to listen to the Holy Spirit as he talks with us. It is growing spiritually and becoming a new person, one who characterizes the ways of Christ. Living the holy life is becoming empowered to grow in holiness and produce the fruit that is grown when Christ envelopes you. It is a life that is not generated by “self” but instead is a direct result of Holy Spirit’s work and presence in our lives. It is a life that requires constant growth by talking often with the Holy Spirit and using His wisdom and understanding to be applied to our own lives for telling the story of Jesus to others. It is a life that others will look at in wonder and sometimes in disdain. There may be persecution and harsh words thrown in our direction, but with a strong relationship with the Holy Spirit, we are able to withstand and continue on. Living the holy life is not easy. It requires a change in the characteristics of our earthly life that others will see and question. It is a life that we must be willing to defend and live, even though others may think of it as foolish. PRAISE THE LORD IN ALL THINGS!

GOD’S WORD SKIPS OVER NO ONE!

So, they shook off the dust from their feet as a sign of rejection and went to the town of Iconium. And the believers were filled with joy and with the Holy Spirit.” Acts 13: 51 & 52

Our Lord promises that before He returns, all eyes will see Him. Revelation 1:7 says, ‘Look, he is coming with the clouds, and every eye will see him, even those who pierced him; and all peoples on earth will mourn because of Him.’ You and I have been chosen to live in a very special time. We have been given the opportunity, to not only be saved by His grace and mercy, but to also spread His word to others. We are to be a part of the work he has for all believers to complete before he returns. We should take on the opportunity with joy and determination. Just as Paul and Barnabus shook the dust from their feet as a sign to those who rejected the message, so you and I are to move forward in both success and rejection. The work is not easy, but it is very rewarding and fulfilling. It is our purpose and mission, commissioned by God Himself. PRAISE THE LORD IN ALL THINGS!

THE HOLY SPIRIT GIFTS

SCRIPTURE READINGS: Isaiah 11:2; 1 CORINTHIANS 2:13; Ephesians 1:17; Luke 21:15.

When Jesus left this earth, our Lord promised to send us the precious Holy Spirit. Many may wonder just what benefit the Holy Spirit gives us in our daily lives. The Holy Spirit gives us the following:

Spiritual Insight: He grants all believers the ability to understand spiritual truths that are foolish to those without the Spirit.

Guidance: He provides the wisdom to make good decisions and judgments in our lives.

Righteousness: This wisdom is pure, peace-loving, gentle, and full of mercy and good deeds.

It is a Divine Gift: He gives us a gift that is from God and received through asking, as stated in James 1:5.

The Holy Spirit is a gift that keeps on giving. Our only responsibility is to take time to listen and follow directions. We are given strength, wisdom and understanding if we just take to the time to remember and feel his presence. PRAISE THE LORD IN ALL THINGS!

I AM SO WEAK!

No, the message is close at hand, it is on your lips and in your heart so that you can obey it.” Deuteronomy 30:14 ” He renews my strength.” Psalm 23:3

I am so weak. My thoughts wander far from the truth. I think of things of this world and do the things I should not. My words are those of the world and the path I follow is that of trouble, doubt, worry and fear. I think and worry. I see and worry. I fear for no reason and become anxious over the smallest of details. I am weak.

Jesus is strong! My presence with Him makes me able to stand tall no matter what I am going through. Every mountain I am to climb becomes like a hill. Every deep valley I must climb out of becomes like a flatland. My thoughts are those of joy and understanding. Worry disappears and evil thoughts run away. Even though I am pursued daily by what evil has to offer, My Lord is by my side to give me His strength so that I become an overcomer. God’s Word is never far from me. It is always in me, beside me, guiding me, and helping me. I am weak but He is strong. As a team we conquer and march on toward eternal life. PRAISE THE LORD IN ALL THINGS!

JESUS IS MY LORD!

” And that every tongue should confess that Jesus Christ is Lord to the glory of God the Father.” Philippians 2:11

THE POWERFUL NAME OF JESUS!

Jesus is my Lord and Savior. This is such a simple message. It is one that is powerful both in thoughts and in words. Every day the devil is looking for openings in our lives so that he can throw our way little doubts, that if left alone, can grow into large boulders that block our faith from growing. If we allow even the smallest of cracks in our lives to allow the devil in, he will take advantage. The Lord gives us every tool we need in order to fight these times of attack from the evil one. He gives us his Holy Word, called the Bible, with all of the truths and promises we need in order to help us to overcome evil in our lives. He gives us the Holy Spirit to help us along in life, if we will just listen and put into practice his guiding words. He gives us prayer, so that we can talk with Him at any time about anything. And he gives us the name of Jesus. The power that is contained in that name is unbelievable. The bible tells us that even the demons flee in the presence of this great name. It is powerful and always with us for the using. Let us never be caught without any of the tools of our God in heaven. With them we are unbeatable and can build our faith to the highest points. THE CHRISTIAN PERSECUTION!

“The Lord is with me, so I will have no fear. What can mere people do to me? Psalm 117:6

We live in a day and age where the world is beginning to come together to not only pursue and destroy the Jews but also the Christians. If you have not accepted Christ as your Lord and Savior, the time is now. Time is running out. Our Lord is about to step through the door of heaven and begin to reap those who are dead in Christ and those who are alive and do believe in Him today. Without Christ Jesus there is no eternal life. There is only death by damnation to hell. Christians are seen in today’s world as stumbling blocks for the New World Order. As we watch the news it is becoming obvious that the world is becoming even more evil with each passing moment. Until our Lord returns, we will be expected to live on the energy of our faith. We are expected to yell the truths about Jesus to all of those who will listen. If you have not accepted Jesus as your Lord and Savior, please take the time to pray a prayer that declares that you are a sinner and you accept Jesus as your Lord and Savior. Then begin to study, pray, meditate and praise Him. Learn all you can and begin to spread His word to others! PRAISE THE LORD IN ALL THINGS!

THE POWER FROM ABOVE!

” But you shall remember the Lord your God, for it is He who is giving you power to make wealth, that He may confirm His covenant which He swore to your forefathers, as it is this day.” Deuteronomy 8:18

LISTEN CAREFULLY

As Christians we sometimes forget who is in control. We forget who gives us the power to do the things to accomplish the goals we have set. Our God on high is our sole source. It is He who helps us to make wise decisions. It is our Lord above who keeps watch over us, keeps us safe and allows us to be strong and with wisdom. It is He who directs our every move and keeps us on the straight and narrow road. However, it is up to you and me to listen. We must stay alert and hang on His every word. Our God is faithful and never fails us. As He is faithful, so should we be faithful. If we get off track and do things that we shouldn’t do, it is because we are not listening and following instructions. It is because we think that our ways are better than his. It is time to listen. It is time to study His Holy Word. It is time to always trust Him and never question Him. Jesus is in total control. He is our helper and our Savior. We must, however, listen and be doers of his word and not hearers only. When we live our lives in the way God intends then we always become successful. It is total trust in Him that keeps us secure and always safe. PRAISE THE LORD IN ALL THINGS!

THE LOVE THAT NEVER ENDS!

Oh, that you would choose life, so that you and your descendants might live. You can make that choice by loving the Lord your God, obeying Him and committing yourself firmly to Him!” Deuteronomy 30:19-20

“If you make the Lord your refuge, if you make the Most High your shelter, no evil will conquer you, no plague will come near your home. For He will order His angels to protect you wherever you go.” Psalm 91:9-11

If you were walking down the street and suddenly a man wearing a mask approached you and held a gun to your head and said, “IF YOU DON’T DENY CHRIST RIGHT NOW, I AM GOING TO PULL THE TRIGGER ON THIS GUN.” What would you do? I have pondered this thought many times in my mind. I understand that my faith is to be strong enough to withstand this kind of evil but is my faith strong enough? This thought is scary, and the hope is that it never happens to any of us, but it could. I am sure there are many who have these same questions. We believe in Christ Jesus, we say that we believe and trust in his works, but when it comes right down to it are we ready to die for Him? The answer should be a big and loud YES! There should be no doubts plaguing our minds or anything that the devil can do to us that will hinder us from worshipping Jesus! He tells us that if we even have the faith the size of a mustard seed, we can accomplish great things. To choose life is to be ready to die for Him. Our love, our obedience and our trust in His promises should always be working in our lives. He is to be our refuge and our shelter, and we are to believe and go to Him in all circumstances. He first loved us, so that we can love and honor Him! PRAISE THE LORD IN ALL THINGS!

IT IS THE SPIRIT THAT GIVES LIFE

” It is the Spirit who gives life, the flesh profits nothing, the words that I have spoken to you are Spirit and are life.” John 6:63

It is the Spirit of God who gives us life. It is by the Holy Spirit that we are guided into safety when trouble confronts us. It is the Holy Spirit who gives us understanding when things happen that we don’t understand. It is the Holy Spirit who gives us wisdom when we need to be delivered and lifted over the mountain of problems we face. It is the Holy Spirit of God who gives us the courage to move forward in difficult situations. It is the Holy Spirit who keeps us moving along the path that our Lord has prepared for us. It is the Holy Spirit who continues to protect us in a world that desires to devour us. We can do nothing in our own ways. However, our Lord sent us the Holy Spirit when he went to set at the right hand of God in heaven. The Holy Spirit is our protector, our guide and our strength. We must be quiet and listen carefully as he gives us instructions for our life! PRAISE THE LORD IN ALL THINGS!

GOD LISTENS, HEARS AND DELIVERS!

” Not a single one of all the good promises the Lord had given to the family of Israel was left unfulfilled; everything he had spoken came true.” Joshua 21:45

There should be absolutely no doubt in our minds that our God in heaven hears every prayer we pray and answers every prayer he hears. The great question is whether you and I listen to Him? It is quite obvious that we can get tangled up in the things going on around us and we take little to no time to listen to what God is telling us. We are the first in line to pray our prayers and ask for his help but forget that we must also take the time to slow down and listen and watch for his answers. It is true that sometimes His answers are not manifested immediately, because his time is different than ours. However, it is also true that we miss many of his answers to our prayers because we are too busy to see the results. There are many in the world who miss answers from God because they are always looking for a huge miracle to take place, when instead, God has answered prayer in a more subtle manner. We must be alert and watch carefully. We must never give up on prayer. God doesn’t. He always gives us an answer. PRAISE THE LORD IN ALL THINGS!

THE MESSAGE IS HERE!

” No, the message is very close at hand; it is on your lips and in your heart so that you can obey it.” Deuteronomy 30:14

The message from our God has been to the earth, crucified and risen, in the body and Spirit of Jesus Christ. He is still with us today in the presence of the precious Holy Spirit. Many perceive God as a million miles away. They think that it takes a lot of time to pray and then receive answers from God. It is important that we remember, God is with us. He is in hearts and minds if we allow Him to be. What we say and do should reflect his holiness and his truths. It is true that some prayers are not manifested immediately but our Lord tells us that He hears and acts upon our prayer requests, but within His time schedule and not ours. We should always remember that our Lord is with us. He is our comforter, our helper and teacher. The Holy Spirit has been sent to help us and to guide us into a constant relationship with Him. We should never doubt our loving God in heaven. He never has failed us and never will fail us. The message is here! PRAISE THE LORD IN ALL THINGS!
