TODAY’S QUESTION: How are you living your life?

TODAY’S MESSAGE: Sunshine seems to bring out the best in us. It puts a smile on our face and joyful hope in our heart. 1 John tells us that God is light. He is the spiritual sunshine that we need to begin each day. Without God in our life we are left unprotected and open to evil. If we are pretending to know God we are doing nothing more than lying to ourselves and to those around us. If we are reading the Bible everyday, yet walking away from it learning nothing, what good is it doing us to read it. Our lives must reflect the light that God shines on us. We must live in faith always looking to our Lord for answers. It is through the rays of light from God that we live our lives with joyous hope and in loving obedience to His Word. PRAISE THE LORD IN ALL SITUATIONS!

” Don’t be afraid of anyone’s anger, for the decision you make is God’s decision. ” Deuteronomy 1:17

TODAY’S QUESTION: Do you make decisions out of fear?

TODAY’S MESSAGE: Making any kind of decision out of fear is dangerous.  If this is the case, you are allowing your emotions to take over. If your emotions are making your decisions then what may be a wise decision in one moment may not be wise in the next moment.

If you are praying and asking your God in heaven to help, you can rest assured your decisions are correct. God knows your every step. If you belong to Him you must trust Him. He is the God of all knowledge and wisdom. You should never be fearful of the world and what the people of the world think. As you trust God in your life, you must continue to build your faith and your confidence in his ways.  It is He you should look to for your answers and not the world.  PRAISE THE LORD IN ALL SITUATIONS!

“Be still in the presence of the Lord and wait patiently for him to act.” Psalm 37:7

TODAY’S QUESTION: Are you really patient?

TODAY’S MESSAGE: When we are waiting on our Lord to answer us in prayer it is made clear that we should not become over anxious. We try to apply our worldly ways when we are dealing with God, and when we do, it is like mixing oil and water, which never works. It is then that we become frustrated because we don’t experience answers immediately. We sometimes become discouraged and walk away from prayer not experiencing the true love of Him who wants to bless us.  God functions in his perfect time. He is never late. You and I must recognize this and be truly patient and able to wait upon Him who always answers. PRAISE THE LORD IN ALL SITUATIONS!

“He who says he abides in Him ought himself also to walk just as He walked. ” 1 John 2:6

TODAY’S QUESTION: Are you living a life that reflects the ways of Jesus?

TODAY’S MESSAGE: When Jesus was walking this earth he was doing something very special. He was teaching, preaching, healing, being persecuted, beaten and nailed to a cross for you and me. Jesus was willing to go through all of these things in order to set things right between ourselves and God.  He continues today going to bat for us. Each time we go to prayer in the name of Jesus, He pleads our case before God himself.  The question remains as to whether we are advocating for Him? Are we talking the talk and walking the walk? Even through hard times are we seen in prayer asking for forgiveness and allowing him to work in our lives? In the times that we count as good are we giving him the credit?  If we are claiming to abide in Him we should be living our lives as he lived his. Because he is true to us we should be true to Him. PRAISE THE LORD IN ALL SITUATIONS!

“I prayed to the Lord, and he answered me. He freed me from all my fears.” Psalm 34:4

TODAY’S QUESTION: We all are confronted with fear, what is your greatest fear?

TODAY’S MESSAGE: The greatest reality of living on this earth is fear. The devil uses it often to slow us down in our faith life. We are all confronted with fear but we don’t have to succumb to it. There is the fear of loneliness, fear of heights, fear of snakes,fear of death and numerous other fears. Jesus, with his death and resurrection, has given us the answer to all the fears we may endure. Even though he conquered our doubts,worries and fears when he went to the cross, we still have issues with them. However, faith in Him, and what He has done for us, is our overcoming strength and assurance. It doesn’t matter what the fear is in our life, you and I are to build our faith strong enough to overcome it. It is by reading the truths that God provides in his Holy Word, praying often, lifting up our praises and glorifying him with every breath we take. We must immerse ourselves in his ways and not of the ways of the world. When we commit ourselves to Him our faith will begin to increase rapidly and our fears will begin to fade away. PRAISE THE LORD IN ALL SITUATIONS!

“So after you have suffered a little while, he will restore, support, and strengthen you, and he will place you on a firm foundation. ”  1 Peter 5:10

TODAY’S QUESTION: Have you ever suffered in your life?

TODAY’S MESSAGE: I believe that everyone reading this post today suffers more than they would like to acknowledge. It doesn’t matter the extent of your suffering, it can be long and drawn out over a whole lifetime, or it can be a suffering that is with you for only a short time. In these times we must remember that the Lord in supporting us through it all.  He promises to be with us always. Our suffering can be so much more tolerable when we know his presence is near. Remember,  there is light at the end of the tunnel of each act of suffering. There is always a reason for what we go through. There are lessons to be learned, healings to be had and salvation at someone’s fingertips. On God’s time schedule he will restore and strengthen us. He will always give us joy and peace of mind, but we must reach out and grab it. It always takes effort on our part, showing our Lord the faith we have in him. Suffering is hard. But remember none of us are alone. PRAISE THE LORD IN ALL SITUATIONS!

TODAY’S QUESTION: What kind of words come out of your mouth?

TODAY’S MESSAGE: God has created in each of us a tongue that is able to heal the body and, at the same time, spit out fire and ruin lives. Every word we say has a consequence. Many do not think before they speak. They say words that dig deep holes that may never be able to be healed over. We must remember that once our words are out there we cannot take them back. It is wise to be patient and pray before we say things that may deeply hurt others.

Our words are better used to heal bodies and relationships. It is better to use encouraging words and begin to build others up. Our words come from our heart.  It is best to fill ourselves with God’s word and begin to see others in God’s light and not the darkness of the world. When we do, we become like the Lord and produce words that heal and protect others.  PRAISE THE LORD IN ALL SITUATIONS!

” Rather, you must grow in the grace and knowledge of our Lord and Savior Jesus Christ. ” 2 Peter 3:18

TODAY’S QUESTION: Has your growth in your Lord and Savior, Jesus Christ been stunted?

TODAY’S MESSAGE: When Jesus walked the earth he never slowed down in the message he carried.  He was always teaching and spreading God’s word wherever he could. All of those who surrounded him never stopped increasing in knowledge. They continued to ask questions and put the answers they received into motion. It is the same today. We have His Holy Word with us as our constant support. His Word guides us through this world, with knowledge, wisdom, and understanding. However, it is up to each of us as to how much we receive. How often do you pick up your bible and read it prayerfully? How often do you pray and earnestly with belief that you will receive answers from God? We must grow in His knowledge and grace and we do so with prayer and reading His word. PRAISE THE LORD IN ALL SITUATIONS!

TODAY’S QUESTION: How do you stay cool in the hot days of summer?

TODAY’S MESSAGE: When summer arrives and the days get really hot, what do most of us do? We try to find shade from the sun. Working in the heat can lead to discomfort as the sun’s rays can burn our skin. Similarly, in life, we sometimes face problems head-on. If we stay in the path of our struggles, we risk being hurt. In these moments, we must remember that God is with us, ready to help. It’s essential to seek refuge in Him. We need to make wise choices and stay rooted in His word, understanding what He wants us to do. God’s shelter is vast and can cover our many challenges. By living under His protection, we can rely on His support. PRAISE THE LORD IN ALL SITUATIONS!

TODAY’S QUESTION: Are you depressed in your life or are you joyful in all things, knowing that God is by your side?

TODAY’S MESSAGE: Our lives are made up of joy and of hard times. God allows those hard times to exist so that we can become stronger through Him. When we are going through struggles it is up to us to decide which pathway we take. We can either wallow in our sorrows, feeling sorry for ourselves, or we can live in the glorious shadow of God in heaven. We can throw aside our struggles with prayer and joyful effort on our part. We must allow our faith in the Lord, and in all his promises, to take over our very being. It is important to take the step of faith and allow the Lord to work in or lives. So, even as we going through hard times it is up to you and me to decide how we handle our struggles. We can wallow in our sorrows or we can go to our God in heaven with faith and ask for his help. PRAISE THE LORD IN ALL SITUATIONS!

“Supplement your faith with a generous provision of moral excellence, and moral excellence with knowledge,  and knowledge with self-control, and self-control with patient endurance, and patient endurance with godliness, and godliness with brotherly love, and brotherly love with love for everyone. ” 2 Peter 1: 5-7

TODAY’S QUESTION: How strong is your faith?

TODAY’S MESSAGE: It really doesn’t matter how strong your faith is, it can always become stronger. God gives us sound advice, that we all should adhere to, when it comes to building faith. There are certain things we must continue to work on that will help us keep our faith standing tall. We must stay morally sound. We must never waver when it comes to our morals. We must match the morals the Lord has given us to follow. We must continue to advance our knowledge of God’s word by reading it daily.  We must contain ourselves when it comes to worldly pleasures. We will always be tempted but how we overcome the temptation is important to God. We must also have patient endurance, the characteristics of godliness, and broherly love that never ends. All of these allow us to continue in a faith that will continue to become stronger an stronger. PRAISE THE LORD IN ALL SITUATIONS!

QUESTION OF THE DAY: If you were to be absolutely honest, who would you say is most trustworthy in your life?

TODAY’S MESSAGE: As we walk through each day we never know exactly what is going to happen at each turn. Some of our days are very routine with other days becoming stressful adding anxiety to our life. Whether we have good or bad days we need a trusting shoulder to lean on. We need someone who we can always go to talk with, go to for advice or to ask for help. It is comforting to know that we have someone who is always home, never too busy or closed because of a holiday. We have a God who is always ready to listen and ready to give us answers.  If we trust our source and not our human friends we can rest assured that he will never fail us. I BELIEVE I RECEIVE BECAUSE GOD IS MY SOURCE!

“Therefore humble yourself under the mighty hand of God, that he may exult you in due time, casting all your cares upon Him, for he cares for you.” 1 Peter 5:6-7

TODAY’S QUESTION: Who do you obey?

TODAY’S MESSAGE: Who do you obey in life? Well, hopefully you obey the laws of the land.Those are set before us for our safety and to help our cities, states and country, as a whole, to run smoothly and without disorder and chaos. We must also obey either evil or good. We must decide whether we follow evil and go against our God in heaven or follow the ways of our God and go against the evil of the world. Many find it much easier to follow the world. They are very seldom questioned and fit into it’s ways quite nicely.  Those that make the decision to follow God and his ways, don’t find the road to be so smooth. They are persecuted, looked down upon, and in many cases, must give their lives for their beliefs. As Christians we must believe and be strong in faith. We must train ourselves up by learning about his word and the ways it brings into our lives. We must believe and recieve from him, without doubt,fear,or worry. We must give to our Lord our problems and never doubt that he is taking care of them for us. The time is now if you have not accepted Jesus as your Lord. Time is running out! PRAISE THE LORD IN ALL SITUATIONS!

TODAY’S QUESTION: What does your life look like to the Lord?

TODAY’S MESSAGE: If your life was projected upon the big screen what kind of story would it tell? Would it be one of serving and helping others, one of following the Lord’s Word in good and bad times, or maybe a message of love and living in patience and strength. Or would it be one of selfishness, one full of self indulgence, or maybe one of lying and cheating. What is our Lord seeing when he watches our lives on his big screen? We are all human and we all make mistakes. God has allowed for that with the forgiveness given to us through the death and resurrection of Jesus. However, there are those in this world who’s hearts are not aligned with God’s. The evils they do are with bad intentions and are not considered mistakes. It is time to study the way we live and to make the corrections that need to be made. Make your call to Jesus today. PRAISE LORD IN ALL SITUATIONS!

TODAY’S QUESTION: Do you truly believe that your prayers will or have been answered?

TODAY’S MESSAGE: Bad things happen to good people.  Have you heard that saying? Well in some cases that may be true but we can be assured that bad things happen to bad people as well. The devil works 24/7 and never takes a break. He is fighting hard and using people to hurt other people. He uses sickness and disease and other evil things to bring good people to their knees. Because of his efforts you and I must be watchful in our prayers. We must be prepared and concentrate on what we are asking for. We must be diligent before our God in heaven and be prepared to receive His answers. We must stay diligent and never miss what he is doing in our lives. He has given us the Holy Spirit to direct and guide us through any darkness we may encounter. So, when you pray, pray with the confidence and the knowledge that God is always answering your prayers! PRAISE THE LORD IN ALL SITUATIONS!

TODAY’S QUESTION: Are you able to keep your temper under control when someone attacks you?

TODAY’S MESSAGE: When we read about Jesus we see Him as a gentle person with much patience.  As he walked the earth there were many attacks upon him. Some of them were physical and others were verbal. The reaction he gave to each one showed his gentleness. His quiet and calm manner always kept situations under control. There were even times, when things were about to get out of control that he would slip away through the crowd. You and I are to be a reflection of the ways he handled himself in life on earth. We must be able to stand against the evil of the world but we must do so with a calming affect.  We must even be able to walk away when times become out of control. Let us be more like Jesus and be winners in all situations.   PRAISE THE LORD IN ALL SITUATIONS!

TODAY’S QUESTION: Is your heart peaceful or are you controlled by worry, doubt and fear?

TODAY’S MESSAGE: Worry, doubt, and fear will damage you in many ways.  They will break your heart, damage your thoughts, and take away your trust. Your life will never be the same if all you do is worry about everything around you. However, if you give your worries, doubts and fears to the one who promises to take them away and deal with them on your behalf, peace of mind enters your being . Jesus saves us from the world. He saves us from ourselves and will save our souls from hell. We must believe and work our faith and do away with worry. We need to work our faith and do away with our doubts and fears. Jesus loves you and me. It is time we allow him to work in our lives. PRAISE THE LORD IN ALL THINGS!

QUESTION OF THE DAY: How often do you know the direction God wants you to go?

TODAY’S MESSAGE: Our Lord talks to us in many different ways. He talks through the Holy Spirit and helps to lead us through and away from trouble. He sometimes talks with us through prayer. At other times there are miracles that take place, both obvious and not so obvious. We must always be attentive to his Word  as well. Jesus led a life that you and I should know well. It is through his word that we learn his ways and begin to understand how to follow Him. There are reasons for the way our Lord communicates with us. He has a reason and a way for all things he does. It is our job to put Him first in our lives, listen to Him and do as He instructs. PRAISE THE LORD IN ALL SITUATIONS!

THE QUESTION OF THE DAY:  Would you rather walk in the darkness of the night, or rather walk in the light of daylight?

TODAY’S MESSAGE: Many find that walking in the darkness of this world is not wise. They find hidden evils behind every corner. While others find it to be fun to walk in darkness. They find pleasure in living a life with no rules or laws to guide them. They find fun in destroying other’s property or in taking the life of another. However, others like walking in light so they can see where they are going and what is coming. What matters is that Jesus has given us a promise. His promise is that he is the light of the world. He leads us down the path that we are to go, and he directs us away from the directions we are to avoid. It is with His light that we are led to eternal life. It is with His light that you and I are led to success in this life. We are given power and understanding to help us live with peace of mind and patience. We can live knowing that we have a God in heaven who loves and cares for us even if we slip along the way and need to be forgiven. I would rather walk in the light of Jesus and not the darkness of evil. The guiding light of Jesus is the light that keeps us safe. PRAISE THE LORD IN ALL THINGS!

TODAY’S QUESTION: If Jesus were to return right now, are you ready?

TODAY’S MESSAGE: Waiting for something can be a journey filled with hope, as it reminds us of the wonderful things to come. As we navigate our lives, fulfilling our daily responsibilities, we can take comfort in Jesus’ promise to return. While we may not know the exact time, we can look forward to that moment with joy, whether through the rapture or any other way we may pass onto heaven. No matter our age, we have the amazing opportunity to prepare ourselves to meet our Lord and Savior. Amid our busy lives, let’s cherish the promise of eternity and its profound significance, ensuring that our future with Jesus remains a source of inspiration and strength. TODAY’S QUESTION: Do you worry a lot?

TODAY’S MESSAGE: WORRY is probably the largest stumbling block we confront daily. If we allow worry to take over our lives we will never be able to see God’s ways clearly. Constant worry is a sin. It is the complete opposite of faith, and faith in salvation is the only way to God in heaven. Worry eats away at faith until it is completely gone. We begin to allow worry to lead our lives instead of faith and true belief.  Worry is useless and is a tool the devil uses to discourage us. We are to look upward and seek the Kingdom of God above everything else! When we do, we begin to grow our faith which will destroy useless worry. PRAISE THE LORD IN ALL THINGS!

” And so, I tell you, keep on asking and you will receive what you ask for. Keep on knocking and the door will be opened to you. For everyone who asks, receives. Everyone who seeks, finds. And to everyone who knocks, the door will be opened.” Luke 11: 9-10

TODAY’S QUESTION: How often to you pray? How often to you bring your prayers before your God in heaven?

TODAY’S MESSAGE: It’s truly remarkable what God can do for us when we remain consistent and patient in our faith. He gently reminds us of the importance of persistence in our journey. It can be disheartening when our prayers don’t seem to manifest right away, but it’s crucial that we never lose hope. Let us continue to humbly approach Him with our requests, day after day. Praising Him for all He has already accomplished in our lives is wise and healing to our very being. Remember, when we keep knocking on His door, it will be opened; His eternal truth assures us that if we ask in alignment with His will, we will receive. PRAISE THE LORD IN ALL THINGS!

“Be not far from me, for trouble is near; for there is none to help.” Psalm 22:11

TODAY’S QUESTION: How far away do you wander from the Lord your God?

TODAY’S MESSAGE:  In baseball a base runner will try to step away from the base they are on in an attempt to steal the next base. In this attempt they sometimes get too far away from the base and get caught and put out.  The same thing can happen in life. If we get too far from God we can get lost in our own problems and be overcome by them. We always want God’s ear. We always want and always need his help. It doesn’t matter how large or how small our problems are, we always need His guidance. Life is so much easier with Him by our side than being alone. His return is imminent.  He tells us that He will return at a time that when we least expect him. Are you ready every day?PRAISE THE LORD IN ALL THINGS!

“So, you must live in reverent fear of him during your time as foreigners in the land.” 1 Peter 1:17

TODAY’S QUESTIION: What is the definition of a foreigner?

TODAY’S MESSAGE: It is easy to get overwhelmed by our problems and forget who we really are. Our true destination is heaven, where we will live forever with our Lord God. While on earth, we often focus on ourselves and try to handle our challenges alone. This can make things worse. Although we may try to improve our situation, it can lead to new problems. Therefore, we must avoid getting caught up in the distractions of the world and seek guidance from our Lord and Savior Jesus Christ. He is our source of strength, and only through Him can we live as travelers in this world. PRAISE THE LORD IN ALL THINGS.

“So be truly glad. There is wonderful joy ahead, even though you have to endure many trials for a little while. ” 1 Peter :1:6

TODAY’S QUESTION: Even through your hardships, do you believe there is wonderful joy ahead?

TODAY’S MESSAGE: As we go through tough times  our focus often transfers from the Lord to the problem.  When this happens we begin to forget who our source is. We try to eliminate the problem ourselves. We argue, we yell, sometimes a cuss word may be shouted from our mouth.  Our worldly ways usually compound the problem and we find ourselves deeper into the problem than we were when it began. Hardships in our life are hard to understand. Confusion begins to take hold and defeat is at our door. Our God promises us wonderful joy once we get through the tough times. Our God in heaven will help us if we just believe. Believing when we feel defeated in life is hard, but believing and receiving in faith is real. However,  we must be willing to partipate.  Pray for your need and be specific. Believe that the Lord hears you and then watch for your answer. Have patience because the answer will come in God’s time and not ours. PRAISE THE LORD IN ALL THINGS!

“For instance, you know about Job, a man of great endurance. You can see how the Lord was kind to him at the end, for the Lord is full of tenderness and mercy.” James 5:11

TODAY’S QUESTION: Which of these words best describe you: patience or anxiousness?

TODAY’S MESSAGE: I think we all would like to say that we consider ourselves to be with much patience. However, when we look at our actions I think many of us would consider ourselves without patience . It is hard to have to wait on something you want. The Bible tells us that our Lord has great patience.  He also has determined a “right time” for all things to happen. We all can be thankful for that, because we as humans, need his structure in our lives. But when it comes to us we are sometimes not willing to wait for the right time. When our wants and needs involve our God, we must have the faith to know that his answers are on the way and we must have the patience to wait for them. It may take minutes, weeks, months, or even a lifetime for God’s answers to reach us. However, if our faith is strong and never wavering, we can wait with patience for his holy answers. PRAISE THE LORD IN ALL THINGS!

“Dwell in the land, and feed on His Faithfulness.” Psalm 37:3

TODAY’S QUESTION: What is more important to you, feeding your body or feeding your spirit?

TODAY’S MESSAGE: To make our bodies run properly it is important to feed them the right kind of food and drink. With proper care we are able to live our earthly lives in the best possible way.  Our spirits are much like the “little engine that could.” It is sometimes forgotten and pushed aside. We try to conquer the factions of the spirit world by using our worldly ways. If you are addressing all of your problems in this manner you are probably losing most battles. Our Lord tells us to live in the land but to feed on his faithfulness. To be able to do that we must know his promises and what he tells us about them. Each day is important for reading the Bible and praying to Him in the name of Jesus. Each new day gives us opportunity for learning about his deeper truths, and how to use them. It is then up to you and me to put them to work in our lives. PRAISE THE LORD IN ALL THINGS!

” And the tongue is a flame of fire. It is a whole world of wickedness, corrupting your entire body. It can set your whole life on fire, for it is set on fire by hell itself.” James 3:6

TODAY’S QUESTION: Can you control your tongue?

TODAY’S MESSAGE: Words hold great power, especially when counseling those in need. It is essential to treat others with respect, using kind and compassionate language to create positive change. A President’s effective speech relies on skilled communication, much like introducing others to Jesus can bring salvation. However, the same words can also cause conflict, start wars, and harm lives. We must be careful with our words, as what we mean to be helpful can be taken as hurtful. We should recognize the ability of words to cause pain and communicate with caution. PRAISE THE LORD IN ALL THINGS!

” People with understanding control their anger; a hot temper shows great foolishness.” Proverbs 14:29

TODAYS QUESTION: Do you have a short fuse when it comes to anger?

TODAY’S MESSAGE: IF WE SET DOWN AND THOUROGHLY THINK ABOUT ANGER , IT IS A LOT LIKE ALCOHOL OR ANY OTHER DRUG WE MIGHT GET INVOLVED WITH. IF WE ARE QUICK TO GET MAD WE ARE NOT THINKING OF OTHER SOLUTIONS, SUCH AS PRAYER. INSTEAD WE ARE GIVING INTO SELF AND WE ARE TRYING TO TAKE CHARGE INSTEAD OF ALLOWING THE LORD TO HELP US. ANGER CAN MAKE US MEAN AND ALLOW US BE OUT OF CONTROL. AT TIMES WE MAY EVEN LOOK LIKE FOOLS. AS CHRISTANS OUR EXAMPLE TO OTHERS IS TO NOT BE FLIGHTY OR OF THOSE WHO DO NOT THINK WTH INTELLIGENCE.  OUR MISSION IS TO ALWAYS THINK OF JESUS FIRST AND NOT AS AN AFTER THOUGHT. ANGER CAN GIVE US  PROBLEMS WE DO NOT NEED NOR DO WE WANT. IF YOU ARE HEADED DOWN THE ANGER TRAIL YOU MAY WANT TO TURN AROUND AND LOOK  FOR JESUS. TODAY’S QUESTION: Do you know where your faith lies?

TODAY’S MESSAGE: Divided loyalty leads to an unsettled character. An unsettled character is not well represented when living a life in Jesus. When we begin to believe in how our Lord is faithful to us, we are sometimes torn between the world and Jesus. It is hard to give up control of our life.We like to believe that we can do it all. However, when we commit to the Lord we must give up that worldly control and let Jesus take over. We must begin to be loyal to Him and Him alone. There  is no divided loyalty but only the faith we must have in Him  PRAISE THE LORD IN ALL THINGS!
