HOW SOON WE CAN FORGET!

” To him who overcomes I will grant to sit with me on My throne, as I overcame and sat down with My Father on His throne. ” Revelation 3:21

TODAY’S QUESTION: DO YOU THINK OF JESUS OFTEN?

TODAY’S MESSAGE: Jesus was a constant overcomer in His earthly life. There were constant problems set before Him, to not only disract from His ministry, but to also destroy Him. We are in the same boat. As followers of Christ we are to live our lives with peace of mind, understanding and strength.  When we are able to do that our faith grows stronger. However, this world is permitted to stand in our way. We begin to take our eyes off of Jesus and allow self to take over. We become frustrated, discouraged and begin to doubt ourselves. We start making bad decisions that compound our already disrupted life. When we begin to make decisions outside of prayer is when we are most prone to fall into the trap of reality.  We must then refocus and reset.  We must re-enter our prayer time and begin to listen to the Holy Spirit. There is nothing we can do that will dissolve God’s love for us as He will forgive our sins when we ask Him. Unless we surround ourselves with His love and nurturing each day we will soon forget. THE MERCY OF OUR LORD!

” But he who trusts in the Lord, mercy shall surround him.” Psalm 32:10

TODAY’S QUESTION: Do you recognize the mercy of God in your life?

TODAY’S MESSAGE: Just what does it mean to have mercy on someone? Mercy is the choice to forgive an offender. Because we were born into sin there is no one who is perfect in this world. We are all offenders, all of us sinning in one way or another. However our God in heaven loves each one of us in ways we don’t understand. He loves us each so much that He was willing to sacrifice His one and only Son so that you and I can live. We have been given a reprieve if we only accept it. Because Jesus took our sins upon himself, we are given the chance to be saved from the depths of hell. However, we must confess we are a sinner, accept Jesus as Lord and Savior of our lives, believe we receive, and shout to the world that Jesus is Lord. PRAISE THE LORD IN ALL SITUATIONS!

THE RIGHTEOUS ARE PROTECTED!

” The righteous person faces many troubles, but The Lord comes to the rescue each time.” Psalm 34:19

TODAY’S QUESTION: Do you trust The Lord in all of your problems?

TODAY’S MESSAGE: To be righteous is to be in “right standing with God.”  We are to listen, to hear and to do as He commands us. As we train ourselves to be righteous in God Amighty, we train ourselves to be good listeners and doers of His Holy Word. We develop a solid trust in Him and in His promises.  Our faith begins to grow and will eventually become a major part of our lives. God’s Word tells us, that as people of this world, we will be confronted with problems as we live each day. However, our righteousness will sustain us as God is always there to rescue us. We must continue to believe and hang upon His every word. We must receive His help within our hearts and act upon his promises for our lives. Our God is a trustworthy God and one who never stretches the truth. He is honorable and lives up to His every word. Let us all enroll in God’s school of truth, honesty and faith and learn to live in His will. PRAISE THE LORD IN ALL SITUATIONS!

BE STRONG AS AN OX AND HAVE THE COURAGE OF A LION!

” Have I not commanded you? Be strong and of good courage; do not be afraid, nor be dismayed, for the Lord  your God is with you wherever you go.” Joshua 1:9

TODAY’S QUESTION: Have you realized your true strength?

TODAY’S MESSAGE: Life is as unsure as the day is long. It is wise that we should expect the unexpected. God has a plan for each of us. Some of us, with obedience to Him, will realize the plan He has set before us. Others will take a different road. They will not develop that intimate relationship between God and man and they will go down their own path, making rash decisions without God. Since we know that life on earth can be troublesome, why not take the path that leads to success? Why not make life as easy as possible? It is because we each have our own choices to make and sometimes our choices are not wise. When we struggle, our first instinct is to feel sorry for ourselves, wondering “why me Lord?” Each of us will eventually come to that important juncture in our lives where we have the chance to follow Jesus, allowing him to take our problems upon his shoulders which allows our load to be light. We are to be strong in or ways. We are to be courageous in the way we live, and we are not to fear.  We can do each of these things if we allow Jesus to direct our comings and goings. LIVE IN THE NOW, WITH THE HOPE OF THE FUTURE!

“Be of good courage and he shall strengthen your heart, all you who hope in the Lord.”  Psalm 31:24

TODAY’S QUESTION: How do you react to hardship?

TODAY’S MESSAGE: Just what do you consider to be hardship in your life? When these trials and temptations come calling, do you face them head on by standing on the promises of our God in heaven? Or, do you continue to look at the world as the answer to problems? The way you approach the enemy will determine just how your life will be directed in hard times. The problems of life create circumstances that can destroy you or can increase your faith and strength in Jesus. We must understand what God desires for us and we should be able to go to His Holy Word and seek the answers. We should know what He has promised to us and know that He works from the sprit world and not within this world. We must train ourselves up to depend upon His ways, strengths and promises. He loves us and wants us to succeed, even in the hardships that stand in our way. We must live in the present with our eyes upon the future.  PRAISE THE LORD IN ALL SITUATIONS!

DESPERATION CAN LEAD TO GREAT THINGS!

” In my desperation I prayed and the Lord listened; he saved me from all my troubles. ”  Psalm 34:6

TODAY’S QUESTION: Have you ever been so desperate that you had no where to turn or no one to turn to?

TODAY’S MESSAGE: Sometimes desperation in our lives can lead to great things. It is never fun to go through troubles. It is never pleasant to be in a situation where you have no place to turn nor anyone to turn to for help. However, it is during these times that the Lord will stand tall in our lives. He is always beside us to help us get out of a corner. It sometimes takes a desperate moment for us to plea to God for help. It is easy to try to find those around us we can trust and talk with, but many times those conversations produce no answers. As followers of Christ Jesus our answers are always at our fingertips.  All we must do is ask, believe and receive. PRAISE THE LORD IN ALL SITUATIONS!

SERVE ONLY YOUR GOD IN HEAVEN!

” Serve the Lord alone.” Joshua 24:14

TODAY’S QUESTION: Who or what do you serve?

TODAY’S MESSAGE: As humans, our minds wander. Sometime we get mixed up with the ways of the world and often  we don’t even know it is happening. Making money is something that seems to grab at many people. It becomes their passion and takes over their whole life. They want the best for their family so they begin to put their hearts and soul into their careers. They become so entrenched in their jobs they forget the priorities God has set before them. Don’t get me wrong, there is nothing wrong with making money. However, there is something wrong with how we use it and our intentions for it. If we are showing the world that we are better than the next person, we are wrong. If we are no longer realizing who actually provides us the opportunities to garner our wages, we are wrong. If we become self serving in our ways, we are wrong. At every turn, we make in life, we are to glorify our Lord in heaven. For every penny we make we should remember to first give Him glory and great thanks for our opportunities and abilities. We are to serve one God and that God is our great God in heaven! DON’T FEAR BUT REJOICE THAT SOMETHING GREAT IS ABOUT TO HAPPEN!

” Don’t not fear any of the things you are about to suffer. ” Revelation 2:1

TODAY’S QUESTION: Do you worry and fear about things that have not yet happened?

TODAY’S MESSAGE: Do you allow fear and worry to overcome you? Do you allow them to dictate what you do each day or how you live your life? We must always remember that fear, worry and doubt are not from our Lord. Jesus lived his life with courage. He knew there would be suffering in his life but he continued to move forward, knowing very well that God was with his every move. You and I must be able to do the same. It is with prayer that our faith increases. It is with meditation in His Holy Word, that we obtain the knowledge to be overcomers. It is when we take our eyes off of Jesus that the devil and his band of unholy demons have a heyday.  We have the tools at our fingertips to overcome, and live our lives with joy and love instead of doubt, worry and fear. It is with the strength given to us through His Holy Spirit that we are able to not fear any of the things we are about to suffer. PRAISE THE LORD IN ALL SITUATIONS!

THE FAITHFULNESS OF GOD!

” Dwell in the Lord, and feed on His faithfulness.”

TODAY’S QUESTION:  Where does your mind take you?

TODAY’S MESSAGE: It is easy to say, ” I Belive in Jesus.”  But what about living the part? Putting your life under the control of others can be a frightening thought. That is what our Lord is asking of us. We are to go about our day making decisions with His help. We are to take the time to listen and do as He instructs through the Holy Spirit.  Whether we come across situations that involve anger, confusion, sadness, or doubt, worry and fear, we are to make ourselves present before the Lord. We are to involve Him first. We are to think of Him, ask Him and listen to Him. We must feed off of our understanding that He is faithful in all of His ways. He never has failed on a promise, and never will. Even if our thoughts may not agree with His decisions, we must continue to fill ourselves with His honorable ways. We must continue to trust Him and follow His lead. Remember, our God is faithul in all of His ways.  PRAISE THE LORD IN ALL SITUATIONS!

DO IT ALL WITH JESUS IN MIND!

” Into your hand I commit my spirit; you have redeemed me, O Lord God of truth. Psalm 31:5

TODAY’S QUESTION: Do you feel redeemed or do you feel worn down by the struggles and sin around you?

TODAY’S MESSAGE: When Jesus went to the cross he was just another troublemaker in the eyes of many. When He was put into that tomb He was considered by many to be dead and buried.  It was time to get back to a normal days life. However, something else was happening that even those closest to Jesus didn’t understand. He had risen. He had become the redeemer, the one who pulls us out of our sins and makes us new again. Even though we are human and continue to make mistakes in life, He redeems us. With the faith we are to plant and nourish in our earthly lives, we are to use to believe and expect to receive. Even though we may be told we are not good enough,  through Jesus, our God in heaven,  has a different view. His love is so great that He continues to pull us up and out of struggles everyday. But we must commit our ways to Him and believe. Let us always remember to live our lives with Jesus continually on our mind! PRAISE THE LORD IN ALL SITUATIONS!

THE END IS ON IT’S WAY!

“This is a revelation from JESUS CHRIST, which God gave him to show his servant the events that must soon take place. He sent an angel to present this revelation to his servant John, who faithfully reported everything he saw.” Revelation 1:1-2

TODAY’S QUESTION: Do you believe?

TODAY’S MESSAGE: At God’s appointed time, Jesus Christ will come in glory and reveal himself to the entire world as the sovereign Lord. Those who love him will be glad, and those who do not will be afraid, for they will be in an alliance with Satan in a battle doomed in failure. Ultimately, Jesus Christ will defeat them and usher in his eternal Kingdom. This is the final chapter in the Bible’s grand story about God and  humanity. This story is about to come to an end. Jesus stands at the door waiting for God to give him the signal to come in great glory. There are many who don’t believe this great return of Jesus will ever happen, as people have been watching and waiting for this event to for over 2,000 years, but every promise has been kept and every prophecy met for the rapture of his church to now take place. As we carefully read and study God’s Word we will see every promise met. Our God in heaven never fails and we should never doubt. His coming will happen in the twinkling of an eye. If you have never developed a personal relationship with Jesus, the time is right now. The time is short! He is coming back soon. The rapture of His church is about to take place.Don’t miss the airplane, as it will be a glorious flight. PRAISE THE LORD IN ALL SITUATIONS!

PLUG IN AND STAY CHARGED!

“But you dear friends, must build each other up in your most holy faith, pray in the power of Holy Spirit, and await the mercy of our Lord Jesus Christ who will bring you eternal life. In this you will keep yourselves safe in God’s love.” Jude 1:20

“All glory, majesty, and authority are his before all time, and in the present  and beyond all time!Jude 1:25

TODAY’S QUESTION: Are plugged into the right outlet?

TODAY’S MESSAGE: Just where are you plugging in your life? Are you putting the correct power into your heart or are you feeding yourself the kind of power that puffs you up and helps you look good to others? Our Lord is very clear in the directions he gives us. We are to be concerned for our brothers and sisters in Christ, building them up and helping to keep them strong. To be able to do this, we must stay plugged into the right source and keep our faith strong. We must carefully listen to the Holy Spirit who lives in our heart to forever guide and direct us. We must be consistent in the minutes and hours we put into prayer and study. We must never let down in our praise for  his majestic power and the greatness he provides us in our lives. Through hardships and joyous moments we must always stay strong! PRAISE THE LORD IN ALL SITUATIONS!

PERFECT LOVE CASTS OUT FEAR!

“Perfect love casts out fear!” 1 John 4:18

TODAY’S QUESTION: What is the most dreaded fear in your life?

TODAY’S MESSAGE: Fear is a terrible consequence of starving your faith. It is important to  feed your faith every day.  Without a strong faith in Jesus, the evil one will have a clear path to cast fear before every step we take. As human beings we can only control so much. Although our destiny is in the hands of our living God we do have control over how much we believe in our Lord. We do have control in how much we learn about the love Jesus brought into the world. Jesus walked among us telling the truths of his Father in heaven. He told of the ways we should live, how to become strong in our faith in God, and he took all of our faults upon himself so that we would have a starting point to begin our faith journey. Sometimes we dwell too much in the past. When this is the case, it becomes easy to doubt our future in Christ Jesus and begin living in the world. It is wise to concentrate on the promises of God and  profess His commandments in our lives. With this, our faith continues to grow and our life begins to better represent the life of Jesus. THE TRUTH SHALL SET YOU FREE!

” And we are confident that he hears us whenever we ask for anything that pleases Him.” 1 John 5:14

TODAY’S QUESTION: When you pray and ask for God’s help, is there any doubt lingering around, that will hinder your request from God?

TODAY’S MESSAGE: Today’s question leads us to the reason we sometimes do not see results in our prayer life. The confidence we have when we pray is determined by the faith we have built around us. It is by faith that people are healed and it is by faith that our prayers are not misdirected by our own doubts and fears. Are you reading the Word of God everyday? Are you applying his ways in your life or do you take 5 minutes in the morning and 5 minutes at night to reach out and  pray to him? Just how much time in a day do you give to God, in relation to the time you spend speaking, thinking and living in the ways of the world? How much time is spent in conversation with Him as you work your way through your day? The Lord our God plays second fiddle to nothing! He is to be the reason we get up in the morning and the reason we are successful in what he allows us to do during each day. He is the reason we lay our heads on our pillows at night and can be comforted as we sleep. It is time to stay strong in the Lord. We cannot leave even a crack in the door to allow for doubt, worry and fear to slip in. Stay close to God in heaven and He will stay close to you. PRAISE THE LORD IN ALL SITUATIONS!

VICTORY THROUGH FAITH!

“For every child of God defeats this evil world, and we achieve this victory through our faith.” 1 John 5:4

TODAY’S QUESTION: Have you ever felt as though the world, with all of it’s troubles, is closing in around you?

TODAY’S MESSAGE: The world we live in today is moving much faster than it ever has before. Technology has help society in many ways,  but as time has gone by, the “knowledge explosion ” has taken us to a whole new level. It has laid out ways, that not only helps us live easier lives, but also has given the evil in the world abilites to increase and expand as well. In everything we do, we must not only learn the new technology, but  also learn new ways to protect ourselves. Every time man gets involved and creates, on their own, new things, new problems come too. As children of The Living God we are not to allow the world and it’s resources to overcome us. We are to look upward and make the Lord our refuge and safety net. We are to increase our faith! Without great faith we have no chance. It is by faith in or Lord God that we are saved, healed, protected and lifted above man-made problems. It is by faith that we are able to defeat the evil in the world around us.  PRAISE THE LORD IN ALL SITUATIONS!

NEVER PUT THE LORD OUR GOD ON THE BACK BURNER!

” What is impossible for people is possible with God.” Luke 18:27

“Dear children, keep away from anything that might take God’s place in your heart.” 1 John 5:21

TODAY’S QUESTION: Do you love something in this life that may be putting Jesus on the back burner?

TODAY’S MESSAGE: Sometimes life hurts a lot. We are never far from an unexpected disaster that has the ability to turn our lives around in a completely different direction. In those times we sometimes become so desperate for help that we grab onto the first thing that comes along. When we do that, we usually have a hard time letting go and moving to the unseen spiritual world of our God in heaven.  This world we live in, with all of it’s resources, can never give us all of the answers. No matter how hard we try to find the perfect answer to our problem, the world always leaves us short. However, with God there are no limits. He is in total control and knows our next step before we even begin to move. It is important to keep the Lord first in our lives. Prayer to him should always be our first course of action in times of trouble. Let Him direct us to the correct resources in this world. He has the answers. There are no coincidences in life. There is a reason for everything.  We must remember that things that look impossible to the world are possiblele through God. Always keep Him first in your life and never put Him on the back burner. WE CANNOT REASON OURSELVES INTO HEAVEN!

“I tell you the truth, anyone who doesn’t receive the Kingdom of God .like a child will never enter it.” Luke 18:17

TODAY’S QUESTION: Just how do you know you are going to heaven?

TODAY’S MESSAGE: There are many in this world who think they are going to heaven and will not be there, and there are many in this world who maybe aren’t quite ready to accept Christ’s invitation, but who we may see in heaven in the end.  Just as the criminal being crucified next to Jesus, was probably one of the most unlikely candidates to enter heaven, he humbled himself and accepted Jesus as the Savior at the last moment, and Jesus assured him he would be in heaven that day.

Where are you in your walk with Christ? Are you living a life that truly fulfills his commandment for your life? Do you understand who He is and how to reach Him? Or, are you one who tries hard to understand the ways of the Lord, and in doing so you sometimes try too hard and begin allowing the world to dictate the way? Our faith is to be simple and childlike. We are to believe because we are directed to by Jesus himself. Our time is short upon this earth. It is not wise to hesitate until the end as the criminal did. Don’t over think your path. Christ has set one before you. Take it and don’t look back. PRAISE THE LORD IN ALL SITUATIONS!

GOD’S WORD IS AN UNFAILING TOOL!

” For the word of the Lord holds true, and we can trust everything He does.”  Psalm 33:4

TODAY’S QUESTION: Do you truly believe in all of God’s promises?

As we look at today’s question we must ask ourselves other questions; ” Is God’s word real to us or is it just something we were told to believe as a child and so we continue to drag it with us as we march through life. If you were  about to lose your life because of your Christian belief, would you break and begin to confess something else to save your life?”  The answer to these  questions are critical to our faith. On the one hand we really don’t have the kind of faith we must have to live our life the way we should. On the other hand our faith is at its fullest. Just as Jesus knew his destiny He continued to move forward with a strong belief that God knew exactly what He was doing. Was He grieved, yes, but His faith in His Father helped Him on His journey. What direction is our faith going as we travel our road through life? PRAISE THE LORD IN ALL SITUATIONS!

THE RESCUER IS ON THE WAY

“The Lord hears his people when they call to him for help. He rescues them from all of their troubles.” Psalm 33:17

TODAY’S QUESTION: Are you expecting help in the midst of turmoil?

TODAY’S MESSAGE: Anyone who knows me well knows that I am a huge baseball fan, especially of the Kansas City Royals. This season was to be one of hope and excitement, but instead, has turned into be one of the worst season’s first halves I can remember in a long time. Yet there are those out there who still see bright spots among the worst record in baseball. They see individual players doing well and a young superstar who is going to start in the all-star game. Sometimes we must be able to look beyond what stands right before us. We may feel doubt, worry and fear.  We may see sickness, disease and destruction right in front of us, however, if we have Jesus on our team there is more than just hope in our future, there are promises being kept and a future full of love, obedience and understanding.  We may not totally understand why things are taking place in our lives but we must be able to have faith that our future is bright. With a strong trust in our Lord God in heaven there is no worry, no deceit, and no fear that can hinder us. But, we must be able to trust God’s work in our lives even in the worst of seasons. “If you make the Lord your refuge, if you make the Most High your shelter, no evil will conquer you, no plague will come near your home. For he will order his angels to protect you wherever you go. ” Psalm 91:9-11

TODAY’S QUESTION: How strongly do you believe?

TODAY’S MESSAGE: When any kind of destructive force comes against us, it is so easy just to lay down our weapons and surrender. It is not only the easiest thing to do but we see it done everyday. Our God, however has a completely different plan for our lives. He has never and will never celebrate seeing any one of his children being persecuted or hurt in any way. God promises us protection in our lives. Although life itself is hard and full of hardships, the end result should never be defeat. With faith we are healed. With faith we are protected. And with faith there is life after hardships. The Lord should always be who we run toward in times of need. He is our place of protction and our shelter from the storms of life. NEVER FORGET!

“People do not live by bread alone; rather we live by every word that comes from the mouth of the Lord.” Deuteronomy 8:3

TODAY’S QUESTION: Where is your source for all things necessary in living this life?

TODAY’S MESSAGE: This world is a beautiful place when we set back and absorb all of its beauty. However,  there is not enough beauty in the world that can keep man going without help. It takes all types of resources, that you and I need as humans, to exist upon this earth. The beauty will be destroyed, the resources will eventually  run out, and when they do, what will be left? As Christians we believe in our God in heaven. We believe that He is a spiritual being and the one who has created all of the beauty and resources that we have. It is He who has control and not us. It is He who shows us our direction and provides for our every need. Without God there would be no earth, no life and no total existence.  But He spoke it all into existence and it hasn’t changed. We should listen, understand his ways and be doers of His word. Do not depend upon this world for your livelihood, but instead, depend on the spoken word itself, our God in heaven. HANG ON WITH ALL YOUR MIGHT!

” Therefore let all the godly pray to you while there is still time, that they may not drown in the floodwaters of judgment.  For you are my hiding place; you protect me from trouble. You surround me with songs of victory. “Psalm 32 6&7

TODAY’S QUESTION: Are you hanging onto the gown of Jesus tightly so as not to slip away?

TODAY’S MESSAGE: Life is a serious business. We all have a life that we live each day. This life may include school, a job outside the home, or maybe it is running the household. Whatever it may be it is secondary to the life we are to live in Jesus. Jesus is our truth. He was, He is, and He always will be the example for our way of life. It is through the Holy Spirit that we are directed in the right direction.  It is listening to the Holy Spirit that we know right from wrong. Our faith is to be strong and recharged daily. Our connection with God through prayer should become so consistant that it becomes a way of life. Are you holding onto Jesus with all your might, so that nothing can tear you away? LIVING THE SPIRITUAL LIFE!

” Those who say they live in God should live their lives as Jesus did.” 1 John 2:6

TODAY’S QUESTION: Do you pattern your life as Jesus lived his life?

TODAY’S MESSAGE: When Jesus lived among us, He lived a life full of love that was taught throughout a land full of hate, disease and corruption. He knew what He had been sent to do, and he fulfilled His mission by the way He lived. We all have problems in life, but if we truly want to see problems, we need to look at the life of Jesus. Our largest problems do not hold a candle to those of Jesus. He carried the weight of the world and we carry the weight of our problems. However, we are to be like Jesus. Just as He walked this earth for us we are to fill His command to walk in His ways. So the next time you have to climb a problem mountain in you life, just look upward.  Jesus is your guiding light. He has already handled your problem for you. Pick it up, lay it at His feet and walk away with confidence. It is done! Be faithful in your actions without disorder, worry or doubt. LIVING IN THE GLOW OF THE LIGHT

“God is light, and there is no darkness in Him at all. So we are lying if we say we have fellowship with God but go on living in spiritual darkness, we are not practicing the truth.” 1 John 1:5-6

TODAY’S QUESTION: Is your light glowing for others to see?

TODAY’S MESSAGE: As we live our lives we most often become entangled in the world around us. We begin to reflect those ways in our own lives. We start thinking, acting and talking the way the world does, and we begin to believe that the world has all of the answers. We could not be further from the truth. You and I are involved in a huge spiritual war that involves our lives every day. We are confronted with problems that seem impossible to solve. However, God has given us a way. God IS light! There is NO darkness in Him.  For us to begin to win our own battles in life we must stand in Jesus, and begin practicing His ways and not those of the world. Some might say that God has given us doctors, lawyers and others with professional skills to help us, and that not all God’s help comes in the form of a huge miracle. I also believe that. However, prayer and living a life worthy of God, is the only way we can truly find these professionals. It is time to begin practicing God’ways. It is time to stop what we doing during our troubled times and pray. Pray often, glorify God in heaven and begin looking for the small positive miracles that are happening on our behalf all around us. PRAISE THE LORD IN ALL SITUATIONS!

OUR HOPE GOES BEFORE US!

“We put our hope in the Lord, he is our help and our shield.”  Psalm 33:20

TODAY’S QUESTION: What or who leads you through life?

TODAY’S MESSAGE: Life is hard. It is a steady grind at the very least, and at times, life gives us mountains to climb. People throughout the centuries have found that there needs to be some kind of hope in those hard days in order to overcome.  When we put our hope in anything other than the Lord, we watch as it slowly fades away.  However, when we put our hope in Jesus Christ, we soon understand that He is more than a mere vision but instead He becomes our help in times of dismay and our shield of protection when fiery darts come our direction. He becomes our friend, our “go to” in times of struggles and  our everlasting hope for life eternal. PRAISE THE LORD IN ALL THINGS!

WE MUST LISTEN CAREFULLY AND DO AS HE INSTRUCTS!

” And whatever we ask we receive from Him, because we keep His commandments and do those things that are pleasing in His sight.” 1 John 3:22

QUESTION OF THE DAY: Do you know what the Lord is telling you?

TODAY’S MESSAGE: You and I have a choice in this life, we either live for and through Christ, and do His will,  or we can live within ourselves with evil ways leading us. The choice may seem simple by choosing Christ, but being a dedicated doer of what He commands of us, is not easy, but hard. We often allow things like embarrassment, greed, evil thoughts, and the ways of the world as a whole, to get in the way of being a doer, believing we will receive, and acting upon His commandments. The devil is doing everything he can to keep us from following Jesus and His ways. He deceived Adam and Eve, and you can be assured, he will not leave anyone unattended if they are trying to follow Jesus. We must shut our ears to worldy ways and keep ourselves securely in God’s Holy Word.  PRAISE THE LORD IN ALL SITUATIONS!

FOCUS ON JESUS AND NOT THE FEARS ALL AROUND YOU!

“Let not your heart be troubled, neither let it be afraid.” John 14:27

TODAY’S QUESTION: What is your true focus in life, Jesus or your life in the world?

TODAY’S MESSAGE: When we focus on the evil around us we become a part of the problem. When we fear, fear begins to seep out of us and into the hearts and minds of those who are close to us. If we are doubting, worrying or fearing they become ours. We have accepted them as our help and guide through our days and nights. We soon find out that there is little rest when we depend upon our feelings and our own knowledge to solve problems.  When we trust Jesus to take our problems from us, they become his to deal with. Worry, doubt and fear begin to fade away and be replaced with faith. It is important to stay close to the Lord. We must never forget His strength and the promises to us that He is fulfilling.  As followers of Christ Jesus, he should become our focus. If our faith is overflowing it will overflow to others. THE HOUSE OF LIFE; A SAMPLE AS TO WHAT IS TO COME!

” If anyone loves Me, he will keep my word;and My Father will love him, and We will come to him and make Our home with him.” John 14:23

TODAY’S QUESTION: What does your Spiritual home look like?

TODAY’S MESSAGE: John 14:23 is a promise that you and I must read carefully to comprehend it’s total meaning. When we accept Jesus as Lord and Savior it is much like a marriage. We look to our Lord and give Him promises as to how we will live our lives just as he promises to protect and guide us in all situations. We are His bride. Our lives on this earth are to reflect His ways. When our lives shine brightly through Jesus they will show a reflection of our heavenly home. We can always count on our Lord to stand by us, protecting us from all evil, even when we are going through bad times, which is when we need Him most. It is our responsibility to keep our promise to Him and believe in Him with great faith, never losing sight of what is on the way. Jesus is returning soon! PRAISE THE LORD IN ALL SITUATIONS!

NEVER FORSAKEN!

“When my father and mother forsake me, then the Lord will take care of me.” Psalm 27:10

TODAY’S QUESTION: Have you ever been lost or felt lost?

TODAY’S MESSAGE: As human beings we sometimes feel lonely and without hope. When these feelings come upon us they produce sadness in our lives and continually eat away at the joy and hope that God gives to us as His children. We are born  into an imperfect world with imperfect people. There are good people and there are bad people, but even the best of those, who stand before God in righteousness, make mistakes and see wrong doing in their lives. When something bad comes our direction we must remember that our Lord Jesus is faithful to take care of us and make us whole again.  It is when we get so involved in the world that we sometimes forget His forever faithfulness for our life. We must take hold and never let go because Jesus is forever faithful! PRAISE THE LORD IN ALL SITUATIONS!

TROUBLE COMES LOOKNG!

“But the righteous will come through trouble. ” Proverbs 12:13

TODAY’S QUESTION: Have you ever tried to deliver yourself out of trouble?

TODAY’S MESSAGE: There are times when we do things that cause our lives to become more complex than they need to be. If Jesus is our guide and our strength we know He will come to our rescue. He will give us the strength and will, to allow his Word to guide us through raging seas. Those in “right standing” with God will be delivered out of trouble.

We must also be aware that trouble will come looking for us. Evil causes us pain, suffering and broken hearts, that will need to be restored. All of those who are in “right standing” with God will come through those trying times. Evil doings may present themselves at our doorstep without notice. We may suddenly have to endure when we are unprepared.  However, our God knows our every step and is aware of every situation we must confront. He is prepared!  We must be ready to lean on his strength and guidance and be faithful to his Word. Aways remember the righteous will come through the trouble that stands in the way! PRAISE THE LORD IN ALL SITUATIONS!
